Italian stadiums are a joke. The councils have a lot to answer for.

UEFA said we can use stadio San Paolo for CL games next season if we install faucets in the bathrooms and some lights in the walkways

That Milan had taps and lights but just got banned?
Anyone think the Germans exit was down to a lack of leadership too? Or is it just me? Just watching them play and you can’t see any direction from their players, they could’ve done with Bastian imo. Or even Klose.
I can't say what went wrong really. I only watched them against S Korea, and the truth is they had a lot of chances to win the game. S Korea always found a lot of space on the break, but were hopeless in the final third. It's almost ironic that the opening goal came from a set piece when they'd had so many clear counterattacking situations.
I know this may sound weird because It’s Germany we’re talking about, but to me they bottled it, the pressure got onto them. As IOAG said Germans missed few sitters.
I can, they try and play possession football - which is one of the easiest styles to get horrendously wrong.
Add onto that a slow midfield who can't keep up when they lose the ball over and over then its a disaster waiting to happen.
I don't think Ze Germans, bottled anything. They didn't deserve to win at all vs Sweden and 'anti-bottled' that.
They just weren't a very good team
Germany are still superior a team to the likes of Sweden and S Korea, irrespective that some of their players have deteriorated since their last World Cup win. I don’t think they would’ve gone far in this competition even if they managed to progress to the knock out stage.
They created enough chances against S Korea, but failed to convert them. They rode their luck in 1st half against Sweden, but in the 2nd half it was all about Germany.
Hummels missed about four headers as well, absolute fool.

Morata is off it seems
Based on his last season form, I am not sure any club would be prepared to pay anywhere near the asking price €65/70m, which is what Chelsea paid without any adds on and bonuses. Unless Chelsea are desperate to cash in because they may have another striker lined up in which case they’ll probably take a lower fee in order to finance his replacement.
Well you can lose and not bottle things.
Yet you say that about Germany. If S.Korea or Mexico were better on the counter both teams could have easily scored 4 or 5. They are just a very poorly set up team and as a result not as good as the teams they faced.
Irrespective of their set up, with the quality of players they have in their team, no disrespect, but they should still dispose teams like Sweden and S Korea.
They should, but that doesn't mean they bottled it.
They were under immense pressure to deliver after fecking up against Mexico. Pressure gets to the best players. They buckled under pressure of expectation
Again, no they didn't. They were set up completely wrong, had that been friendlies I think they would have still been countered with ease.
Playing a poor possession game with two slow DMs (one of which is past it) and out of form forward players is always gonna get you spanked vs Mexico.
They scored a last minute winner against Sweden after playing shiiiiiit. It wasn’t the lack of bottle but the lack of quality in performance.
I am not disagreeing with you re their slow midfield, but we’re talking about the Swedes and S Korea. Their game plan was hoof it up to their strikers thus bypassing the midfield.
Prior to their last minute goal, they missed many opportunities in the 2nd half. They weren’t clinical in front of the goal. They were under immense pressure after losing their opening match to Mexico. Believe it or not, the weight of expection does effect players.
