Morata is off it seems

Not if Chelsea stick to that asking price
The name Sal Aronica conjures up the image of a stock character in a in a 1950s Billy Wilder caper comedy.
Sal's a 60-something year-old, deeply wrinkled and rather ugly but well-dressed American-Italian with a Southern Italian complexion. (He could also have played a Sicilian fisherman, but there were none in this movie.)
He's a racing track tipster with a Brooklyn accent (could be NJ, I wouldn't really know). Through his work he obviously knows a lot of people, including a few big-wigs in the mob. He's fond of a race track regular, and regular loser, played by Dean Martin. He tries to give Martin the best tips, and also warns him to keep away 's character, who he warns to stay away from the flirty, hot wife of one of the mob bosses.
*and also warns him to keep away 's character, = shoulda been edited out

The last game Messi will ever play at a world cup. Was sad to see really.

i agree
sad that the only argie team he played in, that was worthy of him, was the 2006 one...and then as a v young player he wasn't the main player
They did get to the final last time, in fairness. Maradona being on the sniff and not selecting Cambiasso and Zanetti after they’d be brilliant for Inter in 2010 facked him over as well - that was the world cup he really was meant to shine in.
He’ll rage quit now. Argentina have some serious rebuilding to do.
Messi's wilted like a flower in this World Cup, barely showed up when the heat was on.
Maradona would've won 4 World Cups in this era of snowflakes.
He’d be banned for most of them for failing a drugs test.
He'd be clean and hoovering up trophies instead of coke. He was a victim of his time.
Perhaps, he was a victim of his background. He wouldn’t have stuck around in Argentina long enough for it to have had the effect on him it did had he played in this era, I’d imagine. But then perhaps he wouldn’t be the player he was because of that. Valdano spoke about that last week in an article he wrote (dunno if it was you that posted it, btw, so apologies if it was).

What make Forza ? Maserati?
Antoine Griezmann on Uruguay: "They'll take their time, fall over and harass the referee. That's their game & it's what we do at Atletico. We will have to adapt, because the match will be frustrating."
love how he’s actually being real about that

He’s been making a few digs about how Atleti play. He said after the France vs Denmark game on it being poor: "I am used to playing this way with my club. It is true that it was not very nice to watch. I am sorry for people.“
