Fossil fuel comoanies and environmentalists unite in halting hydro electric corridor being extended through state of Maine to provide electricity to Massachusetts.
Hydro Quebec lost a 10 year multi billion contract to supply electricity to Massachusetts when Maine voters voted in a referendum not to allow the company to cut through forests in the state for transmission lines.

Why would anyone support Dundee United

Because they are your local team so therefore entirely relevant to what's going on around them?

Will be interesting to see what happens later in regard to the Parliamentary Standards committee. Johnson was asked if there were plans to dissolve the committee by Rayner (in light of their findings on Owen Paterson).
Johnson stated there is not, despite there being an amendment today by Andrea Leadsome to do just that and (and a three line whip) to bring in a new (less independent) standards committee/system in the aim of exonerating Paterson.
Wallowing in sleaze was a decent turn of phrase.
Ultimately, it will all be meaningless as all Tory voters will take from that is 'Labour playing politics. Tories focussing on issues'. Or that Labour would 'abolish the army'. All nonsense of course, but the type of phrases that the tribal type like rather than thinking about the questions asked.
