We don't have enough empty homes Insert, not everyone wants to live in a derelict area of Liverpool
We should be looking at increasing density in the areas people want to live and where services are are able to accommodate

One is for development for the public betterment, the other is taking peoples’ houses off them to house foreign nationals.
I trust that this clarifies the distinction for you all

That wasn't the point of that particular thread though was it? That was more generally about the "housing crisis", that could be alleviated by turning houses that already exist into homes. Very much for the "public betterment".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Build more houses and stop letting so many people in like we did from 1997 onwards.
Problem solved

Problems created more like.
We have enough homes to satisfy demand, why should there be empty buildings while we destroy our ecology and food security?!

Private property rights

I do find myself using Spotify a lot. But then again a I buy a lot of records and support artists by going to gigs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For my sins, after binning off Spotify (for various reasons, including offering a platform to dangerous waaankers), I signed up to Apple Music.
They pay artists a lot better than Spotify and Amazon apparently, and I've found their 'if you like blah, then you'll love blahblah' algorithm much, much more successful than Spotify's, which was recommending to me all kinds of utter tripe. (Like even worse stuff than the bog standard tripe I usually listen to.)
