Even when partygate was here there and everywhere the polls tended to show voters deserting the Tories rather than flocking to Labour.
Starmers mission to purge the party of the proper lefties makes winning an election virtually impossible (Unite have had enough and others will follow). Everybody knows that going back to Thatchers day the polls are skewed by folk not admitting that they will vote Tory so with that in mind they are probably ahead in real terms.
The only poll you can really rely on is the exit poll on GE night.
