The reaction to Emma Watson saying "I'm here for all the witches" is quite amusing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She’s entitled to her views on men who think they are women and women who think they are men but I find it a little sheeety to use her very brief time at the podium to make a dig at JK Rowling. A woman who has received an incredible amount of abuse, death threats etc for her views that women are women and that a man who believes he is a woman is not a woman.

Yet no-one is abusing Corbyn, unless I misheard his comments….
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is different🤣😉

When Corbyn, Abbott, mcdonnell, Burgon (those who some wanted to lead the UK) have a go at NATO and the west for inciting Putin, in a letter Starmer had to quash, that is not to be spoken off in this hallowed place 🤥

This is the tucker Carlson show 🤣

How is this guy still broadcasting ffs...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why would this mean he would be blocked from broadcasting? By what authority?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean how the hell do people continue to listen to a Russian disinformation mouthpiece.

Ohhh, Jeremy Corbyn....

Imagine throwing a guy out of your meeting for waving a Ukraine flag at Conway Hall?

Kremlin being urged to use his clips is no different to me than any government favouring a journalists take or politician

Cough Corbyn cough cough Press TV
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was it true MI5 or MI6 refused to share intel and security briefings with jezza, as he was a security liability?

Imagine leading her majesty's opposition or being pm, when you are a shifty little professional protestor and friend of our enemies?

Did Corbyn talk about removing Nato forces on the border?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure, but he has been a vocal critic of NATO and the big bad west in general.

The fact he is no longer in Labour due to his antics, but could have been UK pm, is quite alarming.

Silly sausage ....still at it at his age, thinking it is the sixties or seventies🥸

I think it’s pretty obvious.

I’m not fussed about Rowling having started her career and made her a megastar nonsense. If my boss murdered a load of people, I would be perfectly reasonable to call them out on it.

However Rowling has done nothing of the sort. She expresses a view that many feminists have and has received a hell of a lot of consequences for it.

If anything people like Watson should be defending her saying that she is entitled to her opinions and that she is not a horrible person that deserves death threats.

Instead she chooses to use her time in the limelight to have a dig at her.

Someone did a good analysis on this

On the big calls Corbyn would have likely not provided weapons to Ukraine but would have been far more welcoming of refugees

He'd have both sided the debate and offered himself up as some honest peace broker

I mean I don’t think she gives out death threats (which she has apparently received and which Watson along with all other members of the HP cast have condemned) but given her money, influence and following - meh. She wasn’t mentioned, the comment was showing support for a marginalised a group of people. 🤷‍♂️
