Suspension is maybe a tad harsh but you can't really try and reclaim known offensive phrases like that as you open yourself up to accusations of dog whistles.

Obviously it's a more extreme example but if someone used the phrase 'final solution' in a similar manner then they'd rightfully be called a moron.

I spend a lot of time in Cyprus, the first lot were definately soldiers.

Lots of locals say the police bowed to political pressure from Israel (or bribes) thay also said the first girl was actually found battered and bruised in a ditch, not a hotel room like the defence claimed.

I met a bunch of Israeli soliders in the Philippines once though and they were absolute ****s. Went round causing grief as if they had superiority over everyone they encountered. Then when I stood up to one of them and took the pi55 back, he started making hand signal communications to the rest of them in the bar like he was doing some kind of military manouevre. Ended up with his mates 'holding him back' and then carrying him off down the beach as he literally screamed retribution to the moon at the top of his lungs the whole way.
