What did the teacher in Batley, England 2021 do wrong again, to offend Islamists and parents of muslim kids?
Considering many regard religion as made up nonsense from "labour" and leftist thinking, what did the teacher to that was wrong?
Can we debate some religions, but not all?
What if the teacher is gay, bame or trans?
Are we witnessing a hate crime against a teacher doing their job?
Are fundamentalists telling us how to live in 2031?
Asking for a mate.

New Zealand just approved a new measure allowing for paid leave after miscarriage. The legislation is believed to be among the first in the world, applying to couples who lose a baby at any point.
This is wonderful news.

I see nothing here about getting paid leave after a miscarriage although I could be wrong

Powers given by a power hungry government who have no idea what Pandora’s box they have opened up.
The police can now detain you if they suspect you have the virus. Suspect that is.
And anyone who thinks that these new found controls on our civil liberties will be binned are in a dream state.
What have we allowed to happen?

Ginger, they put in a curfew here a couple of months ago. They were ticketing homeless people. The premier of the province said <such>"well anyone could say they are homeless." Plus the fact that all the shelters were full kinda put the poorest people in the society in debt to the state for fines.
At least with the longer days the curfew is 9:30p.m. now. Yay.

Shame.
Homeless in NI were getting the jab this week.
Before me, the feckless drunken drug addled layabouts, but I have been called just that and I do not begrudge the homeless getting vaccinated, as they are more vulnerable than me.
World is sad and mad Q.

I don't get how people throwing a tantrum about a bill to stop people ruining everyone's else's lives with oversized protests turn a blind eye to the fact we have a police state
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A blind eye!
Is this your way of agreeing that they're overeaching without agreeing that jail time for attacking a statue is a wee bit disproportionate, a smidge authoritarian?

Honestly man they’ve well and truly brainwashed so many people into bedwetting fearful grasses it’s ridiculous and actually sickening
I know young people that don’t even want to go back to the office until they get double jabbed, even my dad doesn’t even want to come horse racing in June even though he would of been fully jabbed cos he doesn’t want to get on a train or be near a big crowd, tried saying to him but you’ve had the jab ffs you either believe it or you don’t, and he was never like this before / last year even in the midst of the pandemic.
It’s actually sad and worrying to see and it’s also disgusting tbh. Like we all know it’s bad but the messaging they’ve put out has scared so many people into thinking it’s instant fackin death

Truly, a nightmare, touched on by Bmcl.
Half of women almost will experience this and my wife had one....wee guy was going to be called Joe, so she remembers wee Joe each year.....it hit me less so, but I feel it for my wife as a loss....if that makes sense.
I see yesterday Virginia became the 23rd state to ban the death penalty. Only 27 to go.
I wonder if it's an economic decision as you can't make much money from dead guys.
Why I am loathe to back late or multiple abortion, like a good Catholic Irishman, as so many babies are lost through miscarriage too.
Boris (one dose) says him and Carrie (no dose) have already booked to go to a pub for the reopening
Well, not a miscarraige, but an ectopic pregnancy nearly killed my wife. Had to be removed as it was growing in the fallopian tube. Not a happy memory.

My Enoch Powell lecture Queens 1988 against death penalty.
It would put a jury off convicting a guilty man, fearing they would be killing him, so a guilty guy could get off.
Convinced me... along with I would not hit a switch or deliver fatal jab or hang someone.
Hanging used to be entertainment for the masses ffs

We are considering releasing some of the Governments data that they are using, to keep hospitality shut, even with measures in place.
One of reports, is of a Korean nightclub, last year, with no social distancing.
Ludicrous.
