Bedenoch wins. What a relief for Starmer.

So a Tory Witch Hunt against low paid mothers who receive Maternity Pay with pre-school babies, begins. What was Starmer thinking of targeting Non Doms and Company Directors when there is a sea of untapped savings to be made dealing with these low-life scroungers.

What a beautiful day Certainly a good one for the Lib Dems.

Looking forward to watching Badenoch and Farage trying to out fash each other.

Trump transition team co-chair: RFK Jr wants vaccines off market

‘“[RFK Jr] wants the data, so he can say, ‘These things are unsafe.’ He says, ‘If you give me the data, all I want is the data, and I’ll take on the data and show that it’s not safe. And then if you pull the product liability, the companies will yank these vaccines right off, off of the market.”…

RFK Jr: “The key that … President Trump has promised me is — is control of the public health agencies, which are HHS and its subagencies, CDC, FDA, NIH and a few others, and then also the USDA, which is … key to making America healthy,” Kennedy said in video viewed by The Hill.

“Because we’ve got to get off of seed oils, and we’ve got to get off of pesticide intensive agriculture.”’

If the Yanks elect Trump, they’ll get exactly what they deserve.

It’s mental rhetoric, but I’m skeptical of how much power they’d have to enact these kind of policies, despite their shift towards authoritarianism. Big pharma is bloody powerful, not just in America but globally. These kind of policies will hit them in the pocket and I can’t see them standing for that.

Just read that two Reps in Congress have brought forward a draft bill which would add US citizens serving in the IDF to US veterans’ programmes to “take a burden off” the Israeli state and to encourage Yanks to volunteer for IDF service.

That AIPAC lobby is insanely powerful, isn’t it?

Without wanting to jinx things it’s looking good for Kamala with early voting. Much like with the 2022 Blue wave women are coming out in droves to vote.

Still early days but if, and it’s a big IF Kamala wins I want to bathe in Piers Morgan’s tears. For a guy who’s pro Ukraine and anti NRA he’s such a sellout to Trumpism

This the Trump who says that Biden has been “too tough” on Netenyahu, whom the US should let “finish the job”?

The same Trump who said that Hamas will “pay a very big price” if the hostages aren’t all released before he assumes office?

The Trump whom Israelis favor over Harris by a wide margin (to an incredible 93% amongst supporters of Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition)?

The Trump whose son-in-law has repeatedly praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s “waterfront property” and suggested that Israel should remove Palestinian civilians to a bulldozed area of the Negev desert?

Trump gets in and he’ll probably have an 18 hole golf course and beach resort in Jabalia by the end of his term.

Trump says he wants peace returned to the ME, which in the context of all else he’s said, I can only assume to mean that he wants every Palestinian man, woman and child erased from the surface of the Earth or otherwise ethnically cleansed from the Palestinian Territories.

Yeah. And the Muslim geniuses in Michigan are going to help him. It's not like he banned nearly every Muslim country's citizens from entry to USA. And threatened to deport them all. Geniuses.
