Before his arrival every time we conceded a corner or free kick around our box it was nailed on we would probably concede a goal, Now we simply don’t!
Improvement.
He is marshalling the back four and goal keeper and they look a better all round defensive unit.

The arguments and performances has been laid bare for all to see, except for you, a poor troll.
I will say it once more. Try to read it and take your time:
1. You said the playing environment created by Klopp would not see van dijk play his best games. On one note you're right since he was still struggling with his matchfitness, HOWEVER he proved that he can handle this risky playstyle of Klopp by stopping the usual goals Liverpool concedes while playing such a risky formation. VVD has been exposed because of this and thrived.
Last time Liverpool conceded a header was against Swansea when teammates obstructed van dijk in his heading and was unlucky to see his header bounce to a Swansea player. I'd say VVD certainly has helped stop dangerous aerial situations.
2. You also said that vvd would experience pressure due to his enormous pricetag. I've seen NO SUCH THING. In fact, he is showing calmness and composure.
Face it, you were proven WRONG. If you can't accept sound arguments then the fault is with your (lack) of understanding, not with me.
PS "He is probably £25 - £35 million overpriced"
He's a bargain if he keeps this up.

It's simply not possible to conclude that anything as relatively subjective as your point can be 'proven', and your use of modal language implicitly demonstrates that you agree with this.
Your liberal use of capitalisation shows that you feel a level of frustration, and that is natural when you are struggling to make a point, but if you consider my post rationally, there is very little for you to disagree with.

Nothing subjective here. You again don't come with real arguments, instead you question the usage of my words which proves thaty you don't have any points to make so.. your wumming is over.
My case has been made and proven. How you feel about it is not relevant since you're not here to debate. You lost the plot, lost my interest and your mind.
You're welcome to waste more time here, but don't expect people to take you seriously.
What we are dealing with here is a hypothesis:
A hypothesis is a reasonable guess based on something that you observe in the natural world. And while hypotheses are proven and disproven all of the time, the fact that they are disproven shouldn't be read as a statement against them. In truth, hypotheses are the foundation of the scientific method.
Hypothesis Example: individuals who continue to direct insults at others, (are you paying attention Neo?), on meaningless topics such as Virgil van Dijk are often categorized by scientists as permanently intellectually damaged, and a total waste of oxygen!

Given that you haven't really grasped it, I'll let you take a little more time to reflect on the nature of subjectivity and it's relationship with proof, hypothesis and discussion. When you have a proper think about it, you'll probably be able to step away from your partisan binary thought process and I'm sure you'll take a more pragmatic view.

And the only variable is VVD? Same setup by Klopp? Exactly the same teams played? Exactly the same defence representing Liverpool? Same midfield? Same competitive conditions? Are there any other consistencies or inconsistencies? You are quoting data, but there are multiple factors which drive those numbers, so you aren't really in a position to claim that the data definitively supports your argument, hence you are unable to eliminate subjectivity as I said.
Brain
How would you explain the correlation between goals conceded before and after VVD joined?
It’s clear our defence has improved since Jan 1st. The reason it’s improved. Because we signed a decent CB. It’s not rocket sconce

I'm yet to read any convincing football-based argument from anybody, that disproves me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The arguments and performances has been laid bare for all to see, except for you, a poor troll.

I don't think scientists, if working within those parameters, have actually ever categorised anybody in that fashion.

It might be prudent for you to buy a dictionary and try to read text in context while engaging your brain. You're merely trolling now and won't be taken serious since you're now the a forum-idiot.

I haven't seen any 'solid facts' which definitively counter my point, nor do I expect to.

We’ve conceded less goals in the 3 and half/4 months since he joined than the 3 and a half/4 months before he joined. I posted this a few days ago but you chose to ignore it.

How would you explain the correlation between goals conceded before and after VVD joined?
It’s clear our defence has improved since Jan 1st. The reason it’s improved. Because we signed a decent CB. It’s not rocket sconce
