Even if it's early days, let's put this topic to bed:

We all knew van dijk would be good, but he's exceeding expectations.

I think it's fair to say that he is the best CB in the league for two reasons:

1. His skillset (being the most complete CB)
2. Being able to make others better and perform in a very attacking side with young fullbacks, no DM and a 4 man defense and a high line. This translates into a very risky playstyle.

So we asked ourselves, was it Klopp's playstyle or the players causing us to concede needlessly. It's actually both. And both issues Klopp found resolvement in van Dijk. Ask yourself how a Hummels or Ramos or Laporte or Otamendi would fare in this system if you look at their total package.

WARNING: Increased Oceans acidification.

Estimated change in sea water pH caused by human activity resulting in increased Ocean acidification!

NOAA provides evidence for upwelling of "acidified" water onto the Continental Shelf. In the figure above, note the vertical sections of (A) temperature, (B) aragonite saturation, (C) pH, (D) DIC, and (E) pCO2 on transect line 5 off Pt. St. George, California. The potential density surfaces are superimposed on the temperature section. The 26.2 potential density surface delineates the location of the first instance in which the under saturated water is upwelled from depths of 150 to 200 m onto the shelf and outcropping at the surface near the coast. Ocean acidification is the ongoing decrease in the pH of the Earth's oceans, caused by the uptake of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere. Seawater is slightly basic (meaning pH > 7), and ocean acidification involves a shift towards pH-neutral conditions rather than a transition to acidic conditions (pH < 7). An estimated 30–40% of the carbon dioxide from human activity released into the atmosphere dissolves into oceans, rivers and lakes. To achieve chemical equilibrium, some of it reacts with the water to form carbonic acid. Some of the resulting carbonic acid molecules dissociate into a bicarbonate ion and a hydrogen ion, thus increasing ocean acidity (H+ ion concentration). Between 1751 and 1996, surface ocean pH is estimated to have decreased from approximately 8.25 to 8.14, representing an increase of almost 35% in H+ ion concentration in the world's oceans...........

Virgil van Dyke is so good, he'll even be our line of defense against putrid waters.

I was under the impression that it was actually the salinity of the oceans that was increasing due to the amount of opposition fans tears shed since Liverpool signed VVD.

If Signifi can improve Liverpool, why don't we sign him?

I'm sure that Virgil will be just fine.

Much more concerned about the young school teacher who was fired because she was cross-eyed.

The principal said that she had lost control of her pupils!

Bet brain wishes he did an article that announced Van Dijk being captain wont improve the dutch significantly.. he could revel in thinking he was right for months between international week.

But he didnt.. so he gets pelters everyweek.. lack of foresight from Brain

Even that would invite sharp remarks. The only thing good about that team was the Dutch defense. England created very little chances, it took a Strootman error to make the goal.

Really hope Klopp is interested in de vrij. First time I've seen him and looks as calm as VVD. Good passer too.

Well, de Vrij is gone to Inter. What a waste. De Ligt had a good match, but we already have Gomez coming in.

Virgil and Vergil are the most common modern English names used for the Roman poet Publius Vergilius Maro (70–19 BC).

You may spend every day on an Internet forum, but I certainly don't. My point remains correct, only your shortsightedness prevents you from agreeing. You're welcome.
