Im not sure why people seem to think that I said VVD wouldn't improve the team, because I said he would, however I suggested that he wouldn't improve the team by a huge amount because I don't believe Klopp sets up his teams in a way that lends itself to good defending. That is still the case. The only times Liverpool have been but under any real pressure, they have conceded, and good recent results against some quite average opposition doesn't change that. I've been fair, and commented when I think he has done well, so those unable to have a an equally balanced view are again simply blinded by tribalism, and lack the wit and intellect required to have a sensible discussion. Sadly, it seems that those qualities are in short supply on here.

They beat Monaco 5-2 in the final group stages but because we mauled them they’re average.

Van Dijk has improved us no end, simple as that and whilst we bumble along climbing the premier league and advancing in the champions league the naysayers will just have to watch.

Just because you just disagree with it, doesn't make it low quality. People on here are so limited.

I disagree with it because it's wrong. You can already see the difference he is making and that will only get better.

I genuinly reckon he'll be one of if not the best cb in the world within 2 years. It's amazing how good he already is without matchfitness and adapting to a new team. Liverpools fab 3 is changing into the fab 4.

Don't think you should take him serious. For God sake, he thought Everton's counter was partly due to van dijks 'poor positioning'. Clearly his footy knowledge is limited and merely trying to undermine vvd's performances with make belief.
