I think Mkhi could do well for you lot.

Arsenal fans are incredibly bitter about ex players. They even boo players who were let go at the end of their contracts. So I'm sure they'll boo Alexis.

Yeah, sad really.
I hope miki does well for them as long as its not against us.

I am sad to see Sanchez leave. He was a big player and influence in some games. He is moving for the money. Fair enough it's his last big contract at a big club. Who wouldnt have done it is a hypocrite. I wish him all the best personally but hope it doesnt work out for him at United. No bitterness.

He's moving because your club is a shambles. United have blown the opposition out of the water money wise but that's not why he's leaving.

Both things are true. Arsenal have slipped out of the CL places, and it's his last chance for a big money move. Within the insane world that is footbal these days, you can't blame him.

Sanchez isn’t leaving for money. He’s leaving Arsenal because they’re a shambles and he realises he’s got more chance of spending his last good days at a club who want to win trophies rather than a club like arsenal who solely exist to wum their fans

He could have gone to China for more money. And I’m sure City would have paid him far more than he would have gotten at Arsenal.

If anything, had he stayed at Arsenal and gotten a pay rise that would have been more about money than joining united as he at least knows at United he has a great chance of winning big trophies. If he stayed at Arsenal with a bigger deal than what he had before he would have showed a real lack of ambition.

This post was going quite gentlemanly...

...until I got to the last few replies

But yeah, I wish Mhiki all the best, just not against us. I think Sanchez will be a great addition to our club.

Funny how if he had joined United 3-4 years ago, he'd have won exactly the same amount of trophies!

I do love the lack of irony from City fans talking about players joining for money.

Without the massive fees they paid for players who didn’t even know they existed (Robinho for example) they wouldn’t even be eating at the top table.

And funny how a player of his quality will make a side with a lot of potential even better.

United are exactly where we were 7 years ago in the Welcome to Manchester days. Splurging to catch up. Who has the Kamikaze approach to spending now?

Yeah because swapping Sanchez for Mkhi for apparently no money is exactly the same as spending 130m on 3 fullbacks

That remains to be seen. I'd have been worried if he had joined City with Pep in charge.
But he's joining a team with a manager who thought KDB, Salah and Robben were not good enough and should be sold.
In all honesty, the deal can turn out and be a masterpiece for United, the same way RVP was.
But you can't rule out that it could be a completely flop

Danilo? Surely only signed because he played for Real? Certainly not based on ability. Desperate. Sure, he only cost 25 million.

posted on 21/1/18

Its a very good deal for Arsenal if you take into account how much football Alexis has played over the last 3/4 years along with the fact that Alexis best performances have come as a striker.

United have been awful for nearly five years now, haven't finished above arsenal for half a decade and finished 6th last year. He turned down city offer who will walk the league this year whilst united are at risk of winning sweet fa. He went for the money
