Yep I would agree that the Fury's have fallen from grace in recent times. I usually ignore John, as you would the drunk uncle at a BBQ. Tyson has been found out in terms of his constant hypocrisy and his ducking of the best guys. If both Fury and Usyk were to retire after this fight, I'd be rooting for Usyk but I want to see AJ inflict defeat upon Fury.
I've learned my lesson in thinking that size is a major issue for Usyk. I thought that size would be an issue for him going into the first AJ fight and it wasn't.
And looking at both Fury and Usyk together there's an obvious size difference but it's not an insurmountable one. If size was everything then Valuev would have become the greatest of all time. Size can be overcome in boxing.
Did anyone see that Shakur Stevenson announced his retirement at 26? Probably BS.

Yes it can be but the difference is Valuev only had size, his boxing ability was nothing more than the most rudimentary eastern bloc style, he became champ in the worst ever era for heavyweight boxing. Fury has size and ability and the adage that good biggun always beats a good little’un usually holds water.
Having said all that, I do think this is a winnable fight for Usyk. Word is Fury isn’t looking too cracking in sparring, he got slapped by a novice in Ngannu and he’s slowed down the last few years (thats not anecdotal, the data shows it). Usyk is a better technician and should have speed on his side so if he can avoid Fury’s longer jab and inevitable tactic of holding and leaning on him to wear him down then he can absolutely get a points win. Am praying he does.

Yes.
It's just a publicity stunt. If he really did retire, the titles would be vacant.
I think Usyk will have trouble with the size. Fury has the skills and experience to know how to use his size. That's the different between him and AJ/Valuev.
I think the size difference is overstated. I just saw a pic of Wlad and Usyk standing together while playing golf and they look quite similar size wise. Usyk is still a big guy even if he's not a giant.
I also don't think Fury is quite as big as the 6'9 he states. I don't see a six inch height difference between him and Usyk. Four inches, maybe five at a push meaning that Fury is more like 6'7 or 6'8.
Fury is defintely not 6 ft 9. I think 6 ft 6 or 6 ft 7.

Yeah agreed he’s never 6’9”, just typical Fury bullsheite. 6’7” at most.
Nah he's not 6'6 unless Wilder is lying about being 6'7. I'd say Fury is 6'7.

WIth Ngannou power you can never rule anything out, but I think AJ will be pinging his head back all night and Ngannou could end up a proper bloody mess by the 2nd half of the fight.

Yeah, it was conditioning not boxing ability that caused Fury issues. AJ won’t have that problem.
Think Ngannou's boxing is being underestimated somewhat. I don't see AJ boxing his head off based on what I saw in the Fury fight.
I expect AJ to win but it won't be a one sided fight. I think it will be interesting to see how AJ handles Ngannou in the clinch and what happens when Ngannou lands. It's worth noting that Ngannou has a granite chin, so any stoppage is likely going to come from the ref waving it off, on the feet.
AJ isn't stopping Ngannou unless he's allowed to bring a bulldozer into the ring
I knew Fury would pusssy out
I just heard it on the radio. Well what a surprise.
Probably cut himself on purpose if there's even a cut at all.
He's probably got his makeup artist to make it look bad
Hahahaha, I knew before I even saw the reasoning that this would be something to do with Fury and nothing to do with Usyk. Absolute coward, sh*thouse bottlejob, everyone knows he’s been getting hammered in sparring coz he’s so fat and slow, Usyk would’ve handed him his facking arrrse the absolutecunt. Fack him and his family and especially his absolute belllend of a dad.

BNP member? What are you on about you belllend?
An unfortunate turn of events but it does seem like a legitimate cut and the fight will now have to be pushed out to the summer or beyond. The timing does raise some scepticism within me, especially with the recent sparring stories and rumours that the camp wasn't going well.
I've seen a clip which is allegedly the punch that caused the cut but the quality is poor and it could have been an old video.
