Peter fury really is one classless pr!ck

Ok you’ve fallen out with your nephew but you still trained him for many years, had great success and got yourself established off the back of it, made loads of money and you’re still family, no need to go and like a load of posts of Usyk winning

good opening rounds for Usyk. I thought Fury was really starting to do a number on Usyk and he hurt Usyk a number of times. Then around rnd 6/7 Usyk broke Fury's nose and from then on the momentum changed completely towards Usyk. Fury could easily have been stopped in the 9th.

Thought it was prob the best technical HW fight of the last 20 years easily, both were excellent. Usyk edged the fight, I dont think if Usyk busted Furys nose he would have won.

Both showed incredible toughness Usyk took some big shots mid fight, and again we see Fury recover in 1 min after being completely out on his feet.

Stuck a fiver on Fury to win but get dropped and also stuck a fiver ona draw.

What I loved most about the fight is that each fighter gave the other fighter their most difficult and toughest fight ever by far. Both fighters had to go through hell to get to the end of the fight. It was an absolute classic and will be remembered for a very long time.

Fury didn't know what time of day it was and said Happy New Year before he left the ring lol. And Usyk needed help to get back to the dressing room through exhaustion.

It was a fight that lived up to the greatness that was at stake.

I’d still love to know why Paris couldn’t be there, really bad pregnancy sickness or something else?. I know people won’t accept it and it’s not an excuse / people wouldn’t believe it and would find it ridiculous which is fair but I know it played a massive part in why fury lost.

I'd love to know how you have the neck to chat on here after predicting Usyk would lose to Chisora

Predicted his defeat in every fight and then he takes apart your hero comprehensively

posted on 20/5/24

Predicted he’d beat AJ to be fair and Chisora did give him all sort of problems

And he didn’t really take apart Fury, Fury was bossing him then threw it away

No broken jaw for Usyk. Just a few scrapes and bruises.

Fury fought well, but always been overrated imo.

Obviously taking nothing away form usyk

Finally someone talking a bit more sense and not fanboying over Fury.

Fury beat a 40 yr old Klitschko when he was 28
He beat a very average boxer in Wilder a few times
Almost got beat and maybe did against someone who wasn't even a professional boxer.

The he fights a true Champion and then gets beat...

For me he's another overhyped British boxer.

Usyk now has a better HW resume than Fury and Wilder.

I really want to see AJ vs Fury while they are this age and before either hit 40 years old. It's the fight we all want now.

Id be interested in AJ vs Wilder too although I think that would be too easy for AJ.

Fury vs AJ has to happen. Belts have nothing to do with this fight. These two have had so many chances to fight each other but they've avoided each other for too long. The only one time both of them got their shlt together Fury was forced to fight Wilder for a third time after a court ruling.

In hindsight Fury should have just vacated his WBC belt so he could fight AJ and give us the fight we all wanted. Belts didn't matter then to this fight and they don't matter now. We just need to see it very soon before they're both past it and the clock is ticking.

Its ok mate, I have also made some predictions that were wild in hindsight. Like when I thought Billy Joe could beat Canelo

I see AJ's next fight is in September. Why the long wait again?
He's been fighting every 4 months for his last 4 fights, and now the next one is a 6 month wait. Surely he's getting too old to be having such long spaces between fights. He needs to keep the rhythm going, keep winning, keep the ring rust off but I fear a half year wait is going to be detrimental to that especially as he'll almost be 35!

posted on 22/5/24

I suspect he's waiting to see how certain fights play out.

Presumably he's fighting winner of Dubois v Hrgovic and they'll need time to recover.

Six months is also quite normal at AJs level. His 4 fights in a year was because he was trying to recover his reputation after Usyk defeats.

AJs path is IBF belt gets dropped by Usyk and he fights Hrgovic or Dubois for it in September

He then fights winner of Usyk vs Fury rematch in October at some point early next year. Maybe February?

I think Q1 looks likely but it will depend on the damage sustained by the winner.
