Credit to him if true. Shows how tough he is to see the fight through and get the deserved victory. Obviously wasn't at the hospital like Warren said he was during the PC.

I'll need to watch it back, although this is one fight I'd be glad to revisit.

You lost some boxing creds last night when you called it a draw
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a close fight and if you give the close rounds to Fury, a draw is entirely possible.

Watching Turki Alalshikh pump his fists in excitement just before the first bell was a joy to watch tbh. He was absolutely buzzing with excitement. Very grateful to the Saudis as we'd never have gotten this fight without them. And boxing would have become an utter farce if Fury and Usyk had never fought.

It was an epic fight and very worthy of Undisputed. Credit to both fighters for being great on the night and giving us that incredible event. Both are great fighters, make no mistake.

Someone's 0 had to go but it doesn't make the loser crap and I wish we could get rid of this relatively new idea in boxing where your rep is diminished just because you lose a fight. Everyone loses if they take on all contenders and don't duck fighters.

Fury actually impressed me a lot in this fight and did better than I thought. I didn't think he'd have any answers for Usyk's speed and movement but he actually had Usyk beat in those early to mid rounds so let's not forget that in a hurry.

And whether or not this fight gets a rematch we still have to see Fury vs AJ. That fight sells huge numbers regardless of belts. In fact belts have nothing to do with this fight. We need to find out who the best Brit of this generation is.

First time UK Fans haven’t banned another country’s anthem too. We’re all grateful to the Saudi’s, changed boxing completely for the better

Let's hope the Saudi's can continue making the big fights.

This is why boxing is one of the greatest sports on the planet, because at the pinnacle, it's two men putting everything on the line for greatness. Some rise to the occasion, some fall short, but they leave an imprint that echoes throughout history. Yesterday night, Usyk left his mark.

I'm curious to see how Fury comes back from his first loss. This is uncharted territory for him. He's evidently a high IQ fighter that has the skills, so it will be interesting to see if this changes his game.

Wish the rematch was in the US so John fury can’t fackin attend

I don’t think Fury will change much if anything, was a close fight. And he’s too old to change anything major now. He’s always been what I call a “complacent” fighter but seems to be even worse now at trying to be a showman, needs to focus fully and knuckle down. Just didn’t seem hungry enough last night, I think that was the prevailing factor in the end, Usyk wanted it more

Interested to see how Usyk approaches it next time though as he’ll have lost that hunger, done it all and nothing left to prove and legacy even more secured as one of the GOAT’s. He’s purely fighting for money now

John Fury is quite possibly the biggest problem Fury has at the moment. And at this stage of his career he’s not going to tell him to go away

I’d be interested to know whatever happened to Tyson’s friend Timothy as well (Timothy Dolton (Allcock) he seemingly disappeared the last 2/3 fights. Always seemed to be a good person to have in the camp, then you’ve got Paris not attending last night, John Fury making everything about him 24/7

Feel like its not about the boxing anymore it’s just about participating in the event, understandable at his age and after 3 wars vs Wilder but Fury just doesn’t look like he has the hunger anymore

posted on 19/5/24

Feel like Fury knew or thought he’d won 4 or 5 out the first 6 rounds and then felt like he could just coast the last 6 rounds, bit of showboating, in and out. And then he got rightly punished for it, that was the biggest mistake

Also the ropes. Everytime on the ropes he was getting caught and lost the rope battle everytime yet continually went to the ropes. Whether that was because he was tired or lazy or getting complacent who knows but that didn’t help either

I feel like Usyk did well but Fury “lost” more than Usyk won. He threw it away

posted on 19/5/24

I don’t think they lethally inject people for being homosexual do they? Still just goes to show how hypocritical the UK sporting public and broadcasters are. Virtue signalling all the way, but as soon as there’s real cash on the table they’ll all turn a blind eye to the odd stoning. Amazing really

I'd never seen Fury so hurt like that before like he was in the 9th round. He was absolutely rag dolled. I wonder if that was simply down to the pressure Usyk put on him like nobody had before or if it's just age/wear and tear taking its toll on him. Wilder had moments where he bombarded him with punches (not on the same level) in their 3rd fight, and they never did anything.

If he takes the rematch I still see Usyk winning myself and he may even be able to get the stoppage.

Usyk hits hard and in volume. For some reason people sleep on that fact. He nearly had AJ out of there in their first fight and AJ was saved by the bell otherwise he was getting knocked spark out. Same with Fury last night in the 9th where Fury looked completely out of it and was only saved by the ropes and the bell.

Fury is like a real life Homer Simpson. No matter how many times you club him or how hard he refuses to go to sleep.

I suppose with Fury it seemed more surprising because he's never been wobbled like that before to the point he looked dead on his feet. It made him look aged and unfit. True with AJ, although that was at the end of the 12th and he was pretty exhausted by that point. Still wasn't being made to wobble all over the place like Fury.
