Absolute plum coming from Swansea. They are more excited at the prospect of getting him out of their club as we were with seeing the back of Rodger Johnson.
Still chasing Zinchenko and some.
Little Jeff and the club are certainly going for it, soon we'll be despised like all the other "big" clubs.
Is it just me thinking we have not done well in the striker department with a day to go?!?
Obviously that can still change

Not sure how many HG players are required in a match day squad RJ, but we should be ok with Coady, Bennett, Gibbs-White and Ruddy included in the 17.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are no restrictions in the Premier League on the match day squad. The only restrictions apply to the squad of 25. It is only the football league that apply restrictions to match day squads.
I believe a match day squad consists of 18 players not 17, as there are 7 subs (or there were last season at least). Therefore, unless an u21 player is named, you require 1 home grown player; as you are only allowed to name 17 non homegrown players in the squad of 25.
Knew my years of playing Football Manager would come in handy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------So all of that means our squad of 25 must contain at least 8 HG players:
Ruddy, Coady, Doherty (who does count apparently), Norris, Bennett, Gibbs-White ...
plus another two?
Batth and Hause are still with us at the moment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We can name a squad of less than 25. Basically you can name 17 non-homegrown players and the rest need to be made up of homegrown players.
We could name a squad of 23, with 17 non-HG players and 6 HG players and that would be ok. U21 players don't count in the squad numbers either, so we wouldn't be required to name any of them, regardless of HG status.

Looks the business, that guy. If true it looks like he gives us cover/competition for Coady and Neves as well as an option in the third centre half.
Almost like Nuno sees two broad types of player, defenders and attackers. Midfielders are just blokes who are not quite as good at attacking as the attackers but allowed to venture a bit higher up the pitch than defenders!
Bring it on.
I'm sure I read in the news dendonker didn't want to come to us.
But what a signing he would be.
Moses from Chelsea on a season long loan.
Blew my mind last season when we'd leave one man in the middle of the pitch (usually Neves) and the rest would form a rough circle around him.
Most obvious against Swansea at home in the cup. Vinagre sent off, Gibbs-white sacrificed, Ndiaye played the rest of the game on his own in the middle of the park.

He's not travelling over just for a half of Banks' shandy.

Dendonker having a medical today ahead of signing for £12m
Hes a Defensive midfielder which is what we need.
Not sure where some of these pieces fit in to be honest?
Meanwhile we are still leaving ourselves light up front centrally to me.
Think Dendoncker can play across the defence too. Gives us three great options in midfield plus a bit of flexibility.
We don't really need a forward at all with our wingers ๐
We needed a DM
We need a CH
.......suppose you can chuck in Rashford ๐
