Well we’ve lost 2 more in the league, both lost in the league cup, you lost in the FA cup and we haven’t, can’t remember our group record in the CL. Then we lost in the CL.

You’ve probably lost 4 or so less games yeah.

Lots of draws killed your league campaign.

Yeah and that's the game management I was on about. I thought we'd sorted it until WBA but we did have a makeshift defence I guess.

I'd hazard a guess Utd have lost more games of football this season.

I wouldn't mind checking actually as we may have won more too.

Is there a site which gives total matches for the season?

There isn't one because nobody cares as they are all different competitions.

Utd have been more consistent in the league and reached a cup final. Liverpool have saved it all for the CL which if they now don't win will haunt them all summer the way they've been carrying on.

I'm not a Liverpool fan.

I think we've been decent in the league and dominated every game bar three of them. Utd's h2h record has been very impressive though and that's where the gap comes from. LFC have to do better in that regard.

Our performance in the LC was awful but unlucky to get two prem teams in the FA cup.

You're right Mike. For some reason though Liverpool won all bar one of their group games. Think that makes it six more United wins this season then. Not that it matters that much really now.

You're probably right over the course of the season but you will also have had more games than us I would think Robbing.

However it doesn't take away from the fact that 2 of your best players are away during the busiest time in the league next year at the ACON. There is also much more work to be done on your entire squad than there is on ours. I think its probably fair to say that your best 11 is very, very good - but your squad options aren't as good as United or City. Its why you are inconsistent in the league and better in the cups and its been true for probably a decade or more.

So the 4th placed nothing winners are supposedly better than the 2nd place treble holders who also won the FA Cup this season (Chelsea won’t cause us any problems)? Delusionalised fans. We beat you home and away (moral victory) this season as well.

Liverpool are a better side than us and in the final of the most prestigious competition. We are in the final of a 2nd tier trophy that mid table clubs aspire to win as their major trophy. 2nd and 3rd is the same thing to me. It’s not winning the title is it? United fans have a loser mentality nowadays. Nobody cares if you have finished 2nd or 3rd, both automatic places into the CL. It’s all about winning the premier league and champions league. If Liverpool win the cl they have had a better season then Man City even.
