Someone wants attention

The very thought of Liverpool winning the CL makes my blood run cold however there can be no doubt, regardless what any other team does in any other league, if it does happen then history will show that Liverpool will be the best team in Europe this season.

Not really. Would be our best finish since Fergie left us if we get it but I'd swap a FA cup win for 3rd or 4th right now. Nobody remembers the bridesmaid etc.

I wonder if he feels the season we lost to city in the last minute was a good accomplishment? Better than winning the CL?

It was a matter of time until they went above us at one point, to many of them. Hasn’t happend all season though.

Also when we finished below the but won the Europa last year, or with the FA cup under LVG I think more attention was given to league positions. Funny that.

Strettles, remember when we were 8 points up on City and went to the Etihad with the sole intention of getting a 0-0 draw, yet Kompany scored a goal that started the process to their title win.

Did we have a better season than everyone bar City? Because it sure didn't feel that way.

Best way to end this argument would be if Liverpool fans just admitted they'd swap all their European Cups for a handful of Premier League runner-up medals.
