Liverpool are a better side than us and in the final of the most prestigious competition. We are in the final of a 2nd tier trophy that mid table clubs aspire to win as their major trophy. 2nd and 3rd is the same thing to me. It’s not winning the title is it? United fans have a loser mentality nowadays. Nobody cares if you have finished 2nd or 3rd, both automatic places into the CL. It’s all about winning the premier league and champions league. If Liverpool win the cl they have had a better season then Man City even.

Being champions of Europe is more impressive than being champions of 1 country in Europe.
Not sure that should even need to be said really.
Whichever trophy is handed out last is the one that gets remembered the most.
If they waited until after the CL final to give City their trophy, everyone would spend be summer talking about how great they were and what a fantastic season etc.
If Liverpool win the CL after City’s presentation, everyone bar city fans will have forgotten about the league already.
