BP2 rakes in 84m domestically on Friday to beat BP1 which had 76m

Breaks the November opening record pushing Hunger Games Catching fire to 2nd place.

Pushes Dr Strange to 2nd place for 2022 MCU movies opening.

10th highest opening ever.

150m globally on Friday alone.

BP1 grossed 200m on opening weekend, which was a 4 day weekend because of Veterans day. BP2 will surpass that in USA and Canada alone, on a regular weekend. BP1 also enjoyed better economic conditions.

Well hmmm… so I guess Spielberg isn’t gonna direct for WBD/DCU anything soon…
He’s only come out and trashed Warner Bros, about mistreating Directors when it game to dealing with Streaming and not telling them about their plans,

But Chris Nolan got shafted, nit Spielberg, and Nolan was at the lunch also. What’s going on here?

Yeah it will be a strange situation going forward if we're getting both Battinson and Batfleck solo Batman movies but it seems entirely possible at this stage. Not sure how audiences react to that tbh. Could work if they release them in different years I suppose.
