Right, Black Panther 2 review:

Pros:

- Best 2022 MCU movie. Mature and emotional.
- Handles T'Challa's death (and its impact) very well.
- Shuri was excellent.
- Great acting and character development.
- Namor.
- The intro.

Cons:

- Slow-paced, the film breathes but you may feel the runtime.
- Ironheart was ok but I'm not excited for her show.
- A subplot involving Martin Freeman wasn't needed.

Score out of 10 and ranking amongst phase 4 movies?

I'd maybe give it an 8 and put it up there vying with Shang-Chi and Spidey. But maybe I'm just relieved to have an MCU entry that isn't full of stupid humour after THAT last movie.

Certainly one of the better phase 4 movies. I thought there were some powerful scenes and it's a commendable tribute to Boseman. I thought Shuri and Angela Bassett were the standouts and the world building they done was terrific. I can't give it an 8 or higher purely because it didn't feel like a Black Panther movie. Namor had his moments but I had issues with how his character was handled. The runtime was too long and there were side plots and characters I felt little for. Oh I liked Iron heart more than I expected.

Forgot to shout out the world building, I think it's one of Coogler's strengths as a director.
