Anyway Marvel's malaise and DC's continued fackupery has made me pessimistic about future superhero movies tbh.

The honeymoon is certainly over. I'm still interested on certain projects but unlike the earlier phases, there will be movies I don't bother watching.

I will be honest whenever I think about that show I cringe inwardly in pain - easily the worst thing MCU has ever made. And I include Dark World and Black Widow in that.

No we don't need recasting, it's more of a what if. Current casting is pretty much spot on apart from Ezra Miller. He doesn't look anything like any comic book iteration of Barry Allen. No idea how he got the part tbh.

WB must be regretting ever casting him. Last I heard he's currently wearing a bullet proof vest whenever he's out and thinks he's being followed by both the FBI and KKK lol.

The guy from the flash TV show, does he look like the flash?

The one from the comics is like Arnold Schwarzenegger muscles. That would look hilarious in DCEU.

TV show Flash is closer to comic book Barry Allen than Ezra Miller who just looks nerdy and an oddball. Also he runs like a spaz.

And it's more than just a guy in a suit when there are plenty of scenes of Barry Allen in any movie or show.

Ok I had serious reservations about watching it which is why I haven't yet. Probably won't bother then.

Btw is it ever explained how mere mortal Falcon is able to become the new Cap even though he's not a super soldier in any way ?

Or do they just conveniently glide over that bit and make him as strong and powerful as the Chris Evans Cap without any explanation ?
