You can have Danny Batth for 20 quid and a tube of Smarties.
Kortney Hause would be 20 quid and 2 tubes.
Or save the 20 quid and have Dominic Iorfa for just the 2 tubes of Smarties

Were all out of Smarties. Are chocolate buttons OK?

Seriously though, isn't Batth's record in the Championship supposed to be good? I've not really seen the lad play.

Ooooohhh! Chokky buttons!

You can have all three of 'em for 6 packs of chokky buttons

He has his good points and bad ones. A committed tackler, he sometimes gets a bit carried away with his own enthusiasm for today's game. Good in the air both defensively and offensively. His worst features though are his lack of pace and limited ability on the ball, preferring to hoof it rather than play out from the back. No-one could fault his loyalty though.

Danny Batth is a decent championship centre back in a back 4. He was generally fine last season and the only time he was really caught out was playing on the right of a back three against a wide player, where he was very much out of his comfort zone. As a centre back at that level in a back 4 I think he would be a good signing for any club

It's a shame about both Hause and Iorfa. Both were regulars in England's U21 side last season. But didn't Hause extend his contract recently?

More useless info...the Carabao Cup will have no extra time this season, except the final and will be decided on penalties if the scores are level after 90 mins. Plus it will revert back to alternate takers, instead of last seasons crazy scheme. Also VAR will be at all Premier League matches.

Hause and Iorfa are done with us you would think and definitely Iorfa who wasted his last season at a club going through the motions and playing crap footy to boot.

Thank god that pen thing is over as well, horrific.

I'm obviously the only one then that thinks the new penalty system is fairer. Clearly everyone else is wrong

Agree with you. Ridiculous to abandon it so soon after taking an age to get the system changed

Any news Gemlad ?

If not, shall we make some up for the threadsters, before there’s a revolt ?

England U21's win the Toulon Tournament for the 3rd year in a row beating Mexico 2-1.

Watched Saiss have a good game for Morocco who beat Estonia 3-1. Played as a left sided CB in a back 4 which often reverted to just the two CB's. Almost scored with a fierce shot that went straight to the 'keeper.

Also watched a boring 0-0 game with Scotland U21's losing on penalties to Turkey for the 3rd place spot in the Toulon Tournament. Young Elliot Watt got in 90 mins and did ok.

I could not find that tournament on TV over here wolfie which was a pain.

posted on 10/6/18

Looking forward to seeing Saiss take on Spain and Portugal and Morocco are undefeated in 18 games I think so they will put up a fight.
