Indeed. As an opening batsmen, getting bowled is the way you don't want to go unless it's a magic ball. It was a decent enough delivery from Jimmy but you need to be looking to play straight early on in your innings.

For all his flaws I would have kept Dhawan in the side and dropped Vijay. At least he looks to score and when he does, scores quickly. Vijay is a trundler who is a Ranji player at best.

Vijay utterly useless again

England have two 20 year old's in their side today yet we struggle to bring through talent despite having the biggest pool to chose from instead opting for the same old crap from Vijay. Absolutely farcical really that Shaw/Nair/Agarwal don't get a look in.

Tbh England is probably the worst place the blood in youngster. If anything they should have been selected for a few home series first.

Ideal half an hour for England with a wicket right at the start and right at the end. Could be off for a while now although it would have been nice to get a few more deliveries at Kohli before going off.

Two sides masquerading as Test sides doing battle at Lords today, and guess what already a side has lost a couple of wickts with just six overs gone. Complete joke.

Sides losing early wickets is nothing new. At least let both sides have a full innings before you say they are terrible.
