Top 3 are pretty irrelevant really. A decent score for India depends solely on the man currently not out.

Cook used to be a Test match cricketer, and a good one. Unfortunately he has been sucked into one day cricket mode now, like the rest of the team. He hard posts big scores these days. I can only think of one decent innings over the past couple of years.

Covers back on and the calamitous day continues. Frustrating that we've got this weather now after the 6 week heat wave that we had. Meant to clear a bit later so we might get a couple of hours in today as play can run until half 7. Tomorrow is meant to be a fairly clear day starting bright but Sunday looks horrific with Monday providing a clear day.

So nothing to do with the admin fuds who decided to cram a five test series into 6 weeks, yet avoiding the height of the summer when wickets would have been at their best and you get a fair test without the toss being a big factor.

No, of course not. Test cricket these days has to play second fiddle to Mammon and white ball hit'n'giggle pyjama cricket has to get priority. Still, we won't be having this discussion in 10 years, test cricket will be dead.
