Getting Kholi out is hard enough. Having to get him out twice - for the second innings in a row - makes it even tougher. The umpires seem scared to give him out. Umpiring's been very poor today.

Put together England's top order and India's bottom order you get bowled out for less than 100 by Zimbabwe

Jadeja can score runs, not over yet

Sounds like stokes is intimidating them.

Don’t let him bear a cricket bat.

Anyone else think root treatment of Rashid is a joke. Whether you rate him or not to not bowl him at all again is pathetic.

You have selected him as your main spinner but then bowl Ali and don't even think about giving him a chance. What a way to completely fak over someones confidence.

It's seem to me that when England play India or Pakistan they are like let's roll out Adil Rashid and when he doesn't do too well its ahh we gave him a chance. (yea you did but it was against the best spin playing teams).

I guarantee he will be jettisoned after this series but when England play WI, SA, or any other team that aren't the best against spin they will give a so called younger player a chance to get into test cricket.

Look at the way Morgan treats him and then look at how a chitty captain like Root operates.

Reckon Pakistan should have been given the 5 match series rather than India who have been pi55 poor this series.

And they say this is one of the best Indian bowling attacks to have visited England.... they are so good that they’ve turned around previous 5-0 thrashings to 4-1...... and they couldn’t ask for better conditions given the weather and the fact that England’s batting is fragile lately.

Bowlers haven't let India down its the batting. Apart from Kohli and 1 innings from Pujara the rest have been cannon fodder.

Another chit day for us. England made 100 runs too many and that’s no exaggeration. Kohli’s fields once Buttler started attacking were far too defensive.

Fact of the matter is when the ball is moving around corners, England are far superior to us in these conditions and they have won the key moments. I predicted 3-1 to them with a draw here at the Oval but even that is looking like a loss after another batting collapse. I have zero doubt in my mind it would be a very similar scoreline in reverse would this series have been played back home. That’s just Test cricket these days sadly.

Difference is that India could easily have been 3-1 up themselves. If this was in India England would have been smashed in all the games.

England cant bat.It says more about India and SA who England have beaten home and away in the last 2 series.
India do NOT win 5 test match series away from home. they never have.

England will have a lead of 300 by the end of day 3. The game will be over by the end of day 4.

I was reading about Jimmy vs Kohli this series. 270 balls, 54 times Kohli has either edged the ball or played and missed. Still yet to get his wicket though.

Hopefully England can take a lead of 80-90 runs into the second innings.

One of the weakest England sides in decades who are still relying on two very old pace bowlers and play with 10 men cos Rashid has no role in the team but still they are about to hammer India 4-1

Liverpool no team wins 5 test matches away from home. It’s not India alone unfortunately. The last time a team won was in 2011 when the aus team were in complete tatters.

Fact is even with a half decent team teams these days can’t win away from home and especially these long series. It’s easy to win one match in a test match series and go home with a draw. That exactly what Sa use to do back in the day when they used to play 3/2 match series ad won one or so matches. The minute that increases to 4/5 teams just don’t have in them to consistently do well. It’s like this series, all the players that have struggled have not found a way to come back.

I’d agree this is the weakest england team ever, but their bowling is still very good, and despite the fact that India’s bowling has been good, they have struggled to finish the games for India. Throughout this series India have had england consistently for score like 86/6, 86/7 and etc. Allowing the tail to more than double the score is just criminal

I now have my doubts of india’s chances in Aus. Aus just need to bring in new players who India have never seen and they will struggle. In numerous occasions India have always struggled against new comers. We made Jennings, hameed, Cook, DeCock, and plenty more score so many runs when they started off their careers. India is a dream team to debut against as they never seem to have any plans against new players. Sam Curran is another bloke on that list and nothing to take away from all these players.

This is definitely not the weakest England team ever. Our top order is poor but our middle to lower order is very good and our bowling is excellent at home.
