Well for one Winks has more quality in possession although he was injured. But, like I've said a few times now, I've noted the lack of good deep midfielders England have and am hoping that we can produce more technically gifted ones. Any technical midfielder in England tends to be played further up the pitch, look at RLC for example who was a CM at youth level
Looks like I didn't even need to stir

I thought he was our best player this tournament alongside Trippier, Pickford, Stones and Maguire....

That's one example right there, Robbing.

Riiiiight
The job of the 6 isn't to create, nobody is saying that, but they should hopefully be able to control the game better than Henderson does, for me he panics on the ball when somebody closes him down, he needs a lot of space to pick his passes, and that's a problem CIA you're not gonna get that a lot at the high level
That comment is from this very thread, Robbing. From a Liverpool fan.
But hes been playing at the highest level. Why do various managers keep picking him for club and country?

Yes you said.
He definitely panics under pressure. I really warmed to him this World Cup and can see why Liverpool fans are fans of his.
Doesn't take away from his limitations. That's not to say the alternatives don't have the same. Think this system would've really suited Carrick of years gone by. I wonder if Winks can develop this season and be an option but I worry he's two lightweight to do the role too.

OK. So now you saw at least one.
I dunno man but Klopp is sticking with Karius, managers do stuff I disagree with, Poch played Sissoko a lot last season etc
Henderson clearly has his uses, hard working, a bit of a leader, good defensively, etc but I just don't rate his football ability and never have

Yes, if you think that's enough then fine.
Don't think any Spurs fan is saying Dele had a good tourney. Be my guest and create a separate article on him

What about all the other managers too. Perhaps its fluke.
What other managers? It's only a few isn't it? Rodgers, Klopp, Hodgson, Southgate. Put it this way, if Henderson was made available on the market, answer honestly his value and which club would pay it?
Robbing to be fair you said 'I haven't seen one Liverpool fan on here say that', and now you have.
All the managers ever since his debut. All of them.
£40m and lots of clubs. I reckon Poch would love him.

What do you think when you watch that clip in the OP? That he had an off-night, or...that's about his level?

I didnt watch the clip. I dont need to as Ive watched him play hundreds of times.
I don't see any club within the top 6 or abroad pay £40m for Henderson

Well good luck because nobody would pay it
On Henderson, I think he's an 'ok' midfielder. He does a job. Liverpool is the highest level he'll play at, you won't see any of the mega clubs trying to poach him, and after Liverpool he'll drop down a level. Not many Liverpool fans would be devastated if he was replaced, they could do better.
With England, we're a bit more limited. There are players, such as Winks, who offer more creativity but aren't yet proven at the same level (and obviously wasn't available anyway). Someone like Wilshere or even Shelvey is a more creative option, but doesn't offer as much defensively, and there's other reasons why each of them were left out too....
I think throughout the competition, Henderson was a '6.5' kind of player. Mostly solid if unspectacular.
