And that was a response to those fans, not all the fans, who disrespected him. Oh & I forgot about the OP.
Yes Maureen IS 100% to blame.
Most managers keep their youth prospects at least for a couple of years.
They will send them out on load to gain experience and then gently ease them into the first team (if deemed good enough).
Maureen only went for Salah because Liverpool were after him, same with Willian.
He hasn't bro! The only time he ever said anyting was when he was responding to the portion of Chelsea fans who called him judas. ----------------------------------------------------------
There's more to it than just that, he was just very direct in that particular example.
Of course it's unrealistic to expect him to act unprofessionally for our benefit, but considering how much love we gave him here (only Inter is comparable), it's not unreasonable for us to expect a little more respect from him when referring to Chelsea - that includes not slagging off our owner, manager or style of play (all of which he's done as United manager).
Respect is a two way street. Yes he's the most successful manager in our history, he's also the only manager in the Abramovich era who was genuinely flirting with relegation (never mind lack of any European position/top half finish.... relegation), and we firmly stood behind him right up to the point he was sacked. Not every fanbase would've done that, turned on their players and 100% stood behind him. That's the level of respect and admiration he had with us
Things like calling United fans the best he's ever experienced wasn't wrong but it was unnecessary. Just lacked class considering everyone knows if he found himself 17th in the league at United he'd be hounded out of OT.
He's had Robb (the guy that thinks things can't change in 3 years) to take the heat of him on this thread

This is a good comment. I do understand where you’re coming from, but I think people need to understand that Mourinho was hurt by what happened at Chelsea. His players, who he put a lot of trust in, betrayed him and the owner who told him he was there for the long term chose the players over him. The fans were mostly loyal, I can’t disagree with that, but then within less than a year they’re already treating conte the same way they treated Mourinho. That’s gotta hurt him even more and this time it is the fans who are hurting him. And what do you have to say about the fans who called Mourinho Judas?

There's more to it than just that, he was just very direct in that particular example.
Of course it's unrealistic to expect him to act unprofessionally for our benefit, but considering how much love we gave him here (only Inter is comparable), it's not unreasonable for us to expect a little more respect from him when referring to Chelsea - that includes not slagging off our owner, manager or style of play (all of which he's done as United manager).
Respect is a two way street.

He hasn't bro! The only time he ever said anyting was when he was responding to the portion of Chelsea fans who called him judas. And that was a response to those fans, not all the fans, who disrespected him. And his response wasn't even direspectful, it was just him pointing out that they should respect him more for what he did for the club, which is true.

Zola went to manage West Ham yet still carried on talking about how he loves Chelsea. Jose turning on us was wrong whatever way you spin it and because of it his legacy's tarnished.
And what the hell was wrong with taking to Conte like we did exactly?
