I don't recall any at Chelsea.

Really???

Azpilicueta??? Just to give one of many there.

Try again. Dave was established in the team playing regularly before Jose joined. He's been top quality, solid and steady since day one so don't come on here giving Jose credit for developing a player when he clearly didn't. As I've told you previously he was disrespectful to the club and sabotaged his last season cos he couldn't hold it together mentally. Examples of his irrationality is how he took the P out of Ranieri's lack of English and success in England and then wore his initials on his tracksuit when he was sacked.

On KDB "it is his duty to impress the manager" Well the guy couldn't do more and was fed up of being loaned. Jose didn't see what many regulars at Chelsea saw in him that preseason and the first game. Jose has no patience for developing players. Off the top of my head an analogy of Jose is if you went to his house for dinner it would be ready made food and not cooked from scratch. He is Birds eye burgers and oven chips rather than source ingredients and prepare a master chef meal
You are NOT a Chelsea fan you're Man U without a doubt and they are welcome to you. You fit in well there.

He hasn't bro! The only time he ever said anyting was when he was responding to the portion of Chelsea fans who called him judas. And that was a response to those fans, not all the fans, who disrespected him. And his response wasn't even direspectful, it was just him pointing out that they should respect him more for what he did for the club, which is true.
----------------------------------------------------------
There's more to it than just that, he was just very direct in that particular example.

Of course it's unrealistic to expect him to act unprofessionally for our benefit, but considering how much love we gave him here (only Inter is comparable), it's not unreasonable for us to expect a little more respect from him when referring to Chelsea - that includes not slagging off our owner, manager or style of play (all of which he's done as United manager).

Respect is a two way street. Yes he's the most successful manager in our history, he's also the only manager in the Abramovich era who was genuinely flirting with relegation (never mind lack of any European position/top half finish.... relegation), and we firmly stood behind him right up to the point he was sacked. Not every fanbase would've done that, turned on their players and 100% stood behind him. That's the level of respect and admiration he had with us

Things like calling United fans the best he's ever experienced wasn't wrong but it was unnecessary. Just lacked class considering everyone knows if he found himself 17th in the league at United he'd be hounded out of OT.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a good comment. I do understand where you’re coming from, but I think people need to understand that Mourinho was hurt by what happened at Chelsea. His players, who he put a lot of trust in, betrayed him and the owner who told him he was there for the long term chose the players over him. The fans were mostly loyal, I can’t disagree with that, but then within less than a year they’re already treating conte the same way they treated Mourinho. That’s gotta hurt him even more and this time it is the fans who are hurting him. And what do you have to say about the fans who called Mourinho Judas?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zola went to manage West Ham yet still carried on talking about how he loves Chelsea. Jose turning on us was wrong whatever way you spin it and because of it his legacy's tarnished.

And what the hell was wrong with taking to Conte like we did exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because West Ham is not Manchester United

And From Mourinho’s perspective, can you not see how bad it looks. He loves Chelsea and the fans love him. He’s then fired under terrible circumstances due to the players stabbing him in the back. One year later and the Chelsea fans who supposedly loved him have now completely forgiven the players who stabbed him in the back and the fans are also cheering for the next manager without even a thought about Mourinho. I don’t blame him for being upset.

Isn't it hypocritical that Chelsea fans have a problem with Mourinho complimented Man Utd, yet they don't see a problem with them singing Conte's name a year after Mourinho was fired? It's the exact same thing.

West Ham fans hate Chelsea, United fans in general don't. Zola proclaiming he still has love for Chelsea while West Ham manager would be a lot more "risky".

He was fired due to having us fighting relegation, yet despite that he would have got welcomed back to The Bridge with open arms, all he had to do was keep his gob shut, but he didn't.

It's a bit strange, usually if you want to WUM you do it with your team in a position of strength, but with the likes of Erik and Robb its the opposite, the worse United get the more they try to WUM

Why is it that Mourinho is always begging for respect yet never gives any respect to others?
The guy is desperate and both sides of Manchester will rejoice when he is inevitably shown the door. Ok maybe the blue half won't.
Their will be one lad in a land far far away crying into his Jose cornflake bowl asking how it could happen again blissfully unaware that Dave (Azpi...) really improved under the tutelage of Conte when he experimented with him as right side of a centre back trio which romped home in the league much to the disdain of Mourinhosaurus who was beating himself up inside for not spotting the potential. Again

You're furrrking reeetarded. Azpilicueta went from average RB who wasn't even first choice before Mourinho to becoming the best LB and best defender in the league under Mourinho. He literally changed his position and made him into the best player in his position.

Wrong, Azpi was the first choice RB under Rafa and the late stages of Robbie, Ivan was playing CB.

I suggest a bit of research before trying to act smart in future.

posted on 7/9/18

No, Ivanovic was clearly first choice RB. Which he continued to be under Mourinho, which is why Azpi played LB under Mourinho.
