TOOR, you said you don’t need to know the law to know if it’s a foul and you also couldn’t name which offence you thought had taken place.

So yes, I believe you hadn’t looked it up. Fair?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes I did and that is still the case. You need to know the law to state specifically what the criteria was for it to be a foul. You don't need it to know whether it was a foul or not as you have played and watched the game for decades and know what a foul is. As I said before, the majority of players wont have read the laws but they know when they've been fouled and if the can pull players back in the box etc.

The only people that have read the laws in a match are the refs and linesman.

I did name what offence I thought had taken place, impeding. You said that was wrong, it would come under holding. Fair enough if that's true. I've read both and both seem like they could be used. Regardless, as I said before, it doesnt matter what law is used and whether you or anybody else knows it, you still know it's a foul as you've played and watched the game for decades.

I’m sorry but that’s wrong.

You need to know the criteria referees apply to know if it’s a foul. Holding is a really good example because there are some key points you may not realise.

Fair enough.

Personally I don’t think the defender prevented him moving past at all.

Salah could easily have carried on imo.

Fact is, I do know the law well, which is why your debate has gone from debating the actual decision to this pile of sheite.

What a mess you are.

Yes he could have carried on but he shouldn't as he was took off his stride by the foul and may have lost control of the ball, meaning the defender would have gained advantage by fouling him.

Generous, TOOR. It was barely a touch!

But I do appreciate you now accept its opinion - we’re both entitled to it and neither of us are wrong.

I did ask for your understanding on that point some time ago.

Which I may add would have been fine if the referee would have given a penalty anyhow but he wouldn't have which we have seen on numerous occasions when players try to carry on, twice this season on Salah, with one being yesterday when he tried to carry on and still didnt get the penalty so went down.

Problem is TOOR is the referee may not have thought it was a foul (without the dive).

We’ll never know.

“Fact is I do know the laws well”

Despite providing any evidence of this. Standard Winston talking shiite.

I know the laws of thermal dynamics. I’m not going to give examples of which, but I’ll still insist I do to win an argument with a stranger in the internet. It’s really important I ’destroy’ people.

What a fookin knobhead

No, I want you to find the bit where you asked me which law and I told you what I’m basing my opinion on.

I explained that to you last time.

Look at the state of what you’re left with.

Are you any good at throwing shoes over buildings using the laces? We can try that if you like.

I think you are lying. If you disagree with that then you pop off and prove me wrong. No skin off my nose of you don’t. It just further proves you talk shiite and can’t back it up.

It’s not on me to prove you’re not a liar. That’s on you little man.
