We had this last season with the concerts being on - this season there are Rugby League Semi Finals due to be played on the Saturday so it may be in prep for that.

Regarding the Hotel, that is conclusive and it's good news. Unless someone can replicate companies house logo etc. I would say that is genuine.

With the hotel being sorted, I'm quite confident that if we don't hear anything regarding the club, it will now happen very soon. Keep smiling guys and enjoy what is left of your weekend.

I'm sorry for everyone at Bury. We all know what it's like to go through a period of turmoil. I think our situation was terrible but the people at Bury have little time to sort matters. However, we can hope that someone comes in and helps them out.

Good morning guys, it would seem, according to Mark Iles, that the Hotel has not yet 100% been secured but is looking positive.

Meanwhile, a new company has been created at Companies House with the expressed purpose of taking on the hotel, which is under the control of separate administrators.

Let's hope that matters are concluded very quickly now as time stops for no man and there is a lot to do before the start of the season.

I'm not sure that setting up the new hotel company resolves anything: you could do that yourself if you have half an hour and £12 you don't need. The significant milestone will be when the newco owns the asset of the hotel building, free from secured debt.

As I understand it, anyone buying the existing hotel company would be buying it from BWFC (the sole shareholder in the hotel business), but as I've said before that is worthless unless it comes with an actual hotel!

It rather looked as though a secured creditor was a fly in the ointment but now that seems to have been resolved and matters can move forward again.

Regarding the Hotel, it could go either way but hopefully, FV will win the day. If not that doesn't necessarily mean that the sale of the club to FV won't be finalised. The club is more important than the Hotel but it would be good to take control of both assets.
