You can see this being touch and go if we ever get near the end of it all.
Maybe the judge will say something a bit stronger than a finger wag at Ken on Wednesday

a couple weeks getting the accounts sorted, another to get a valuation for sale. 3 weeks on the market before a sale can be started. more weeks for the creditors to agree on some figures, and a buyer, then how ever long the league needs to do their FPP tests.

Ken's rep in court possible statement saying 'Not Mr Anderson problem now, and just to add it was never his fault anyway, he just did what was best for the club.'

Looks like brockbank is off too. That's 4 players could be gone. Brockbank, connell, Darcy, earing. Add maybe turner and politic. A group of players that have been doing well under david lee and spooner who could have been part of a new era. What a waste. Sickening whats going. At least when we went down in 82 there were a group of young players to blood added to some good non league signings and experienced freebies. Going to be left with nothing after all this.

Also heard wheater is off but no where.

Not so long ago Brockbank had more scouts watching him than Connell.

Looking at the posts, it seems as if the season will be almost up and running before matters are sorted. All we can do is to hope for is that we have a buyer who has money and can get things sorted in good order very quickly.

Surely someone will want to buy us. The price doesn't rely on a new owner paying all the outstanding bills. The claimants will only get a portion of the money depending on what price is achieved on the sale of the club. The training ground is under lease from the council so that isn't an asset that the receiver can sell. As far as I can ascertain its just the stadium, Hotel and car parks.

Heathcotes got the push from the hotel Jamie Oliver going bust. Catering isn't the best business to be in these days I wonder how Pat is coping with her posh cafes

Connell secured for a further year. Here is a link to the story. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17652781.bolton-wanderers-secure-rangers-spurs-norwich-target-to-longer-deal/

That's good news and two other youngsters have also signed a one-year extension. However, I do suspect that.we will lose some of our better young players.

But only paid from 13th may to now for hours actually worked, then weekly paid and reviewed monthly.
Players and playing staff to find out about their pay later in the week.

Well there seems to be 4 buyers for Blackpool fc.
So we could be in with a chance, if we can have a quite word with the other three.

With the way the things going with the hotel my gut feeling is it and the club are going separate ways and the hotel won't be bringing income into the club but run totally separately with profits going to stakeholders. Can't we then just build another at the other side of the ground? Seriously i was at Prestons ground last Tuesday and noted there is an nhs centre built within the ground and a sports cafe type bar open near to behind the goal. A lot more could be done at the reebok to bring money into the club. Looks like the hotel is going the same way as vela, ameobi and wheater.

No22 today. Should be a nod through with a carry on as you are to the admin team.
This whole thing may well last until the night before the new season starts we could be in for a bad start if we have to start the season while still in admin.

posted on 22/5/19

Worrying indeed, how are the admin team to decide on loan players and freebies, renewed contracts etc, getting a team together for the new season, all while PP still fixing his bingo machine.

Court Outcome The Petition is suspended and no return date set that will be left to the administrators to apply back to court to update or apply to discharge it.

once tax man gets his money they should rescind the petition, and anyone else piggy backing it.

Benny, I was surprised to see that Ken Anderson had placed the Hotel into administration and not Mike James. I just wonder if there is any significance to that decision. I hope that we don't have Anderson making money out of the Hotel. That would be a real downer.

I'm pleased that the non-footballing staff has at least been paid some money. They deserve a medal for their loyalty.

The club can be yours for 25m a hotel is not included in the price.
It's not for me at that price considering there's no hotel and the amount required to get it playing a game of football

posted on 22/5/19

I read it that the hotel is chucked in at that price and includes 2 years funding. I would be amazed if anyone bought it at that price though.

posted on 22/5/19

That was quick, £25m with the Hotel is how I read it too.
EFL will have to act quick this time, looking at about 30 potential parties.

Although you will need some cash set to one side to get some contracts and players sorted out.

Also pay off one manager and employ another which leads me to think it will be carry on parky for now.
