I thought the words used were "some money is now being paid to playing staff" didn't say full pay or how much.
Of course I can't find it to offer a link now perhaps it was just a strange dream
Wanderers’ players have been informed that their wages will be deferred until a new owner is found but that the club will not be terminating existing contracts.
23rd May from the beano, unless something was said later.
So can otzumer just go on a free to Charlton or can Bolton get a fee? Shame really but there is no point staying at Bolton with parky in charge. Another what if.
I suspect Chorlton will have to at least pay off his remaining contract, unless he has already handed his notice in, then he can just walk away, I guess
It looks like a whole new team will be required when we eventually get new owners. Parky, who none of us want, has presented a list of fee-free players to the administrators. He will, of course, be trying to influence any new owner that he is the man to carry on the task of the manager. I hope that they have other ideas.
You know they won't be rushing to tell us anything come 4pm Friday best plan for another quiet weekend ahead while the admin team add up all the 25k bundles.
Sit back and keep an eye on Benny amending the Outs list at the top of the thread while thinking about what to wear on the pre season tour to Bury
Only 5 interested parties have paid the £25k according to Iles, and should have already been vetted by the EFL.
So shouldn't take longer than a week to sort through, but not sure what else needs to be done at that point.
Depends who the admins invite to be preferred bidders once that's done then the haggling may commence they'll need an update on the debt increase and number of players left standing who are under contract and there's still the matter of EFL punishment to resolve.
Its common to lose a couple of bidders along the way and maybe a consortium or two collapse.
The preferred bidder/s will hopefully be the ones with the most cash and who have an interest in restoring the club to its past dizzy heights of the Premiership. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.
I see the ginger Scot, Neil Lennon is after securing Luca Connell at a knockdown price. Well, he wouldn't he. He didn't do us any favors when he was our manager so don't expect any now.
Mark Little has joined Bristol rovers. With Olkowski gone that's both right backs gone.
I see Mark Little who was out of contract has signed on at Bristol Rovers so another ex player we could be facing this coming season.
We need a new i-Spy ex player book producing.
Is that a genuine snap there Benny
The 3 players who have found clubs so far have been league one. Suggests that's the level of player we have been operating with in the championship. When can I start getting excited about new signings? arranging which friendlies to go to? Seeing our new kit?
Benny, as far as the players who have left us are concerned, some may be decent players but we are where we are. It is looking like an almost total new team is required and that may be difficult depending on who, if anyone gets the club.
I'm of the opinion that a completely fresh start may have its merits. A new attitude, new aspirations of joining a club with everything to prove. I know the players this last season didn't get paid but I don't think that going on strike did them any good whatsoever. However, it did the club a lot of damage so for me, I'm not too bothered about most of them leaving. A clean slate with new owners is our only option and with at least a 12 point deficit before even kicking a ball, no one has great expectations.
I say bring it on and let's see what happens.
I know there's a lot to do but when would be the right time to talk about changing the music that needs a clear out and starting from scratch as well.
I'm hoping the admins have done us a favour and sold all the current music stock down a car boot sale somewhere to raise a few bob.
Meanwhile the best free agents are getting signed up. A couple of ex players Joe Mason signed for mk dons, Oscar Threlkeld signed for Salford. Once or if everything sorted the only players available will be the ones nobody else wants.
Looks like I've set them all off on the beano again.
we can choose from those fringe players who hope to get first team action, then get let down due to the newer players going into their team.
Plenty of time before the loan window slams shut on us.
He's here again good old Bassini couldn't resist saying hello

On radoo mcr this morning. Bury are likely to go into administration so at least we might not start the season bottom of the league. O is before u.
just need 2 more clubs to go into Admin, then we be safe....
Bassini doesn't know what he is doing, hasn't a clue.
What is more scary is that he says he has £30m to spend.
Leagues 1 & 2 may see more clubs with points deducted by the end of next season as they struggle to make ends meet.
Football is changing lower leagues need to cut costs to survive you can feel Leagues 1 & 2 heading for North South splits it makes sense as they say history repeats don't they
Here is the pre season for Radcliffe makes you think what ours will be like it'll probably be short and sweet somewhere local do you fancy any of these though to get you in the mood for football while you wait for our potential new owners to get organised.

It's OK getting shut of the music but it doesn't change the facts.

Bassini muddying the waters again. £30,000,000? He didn't even prove that he had £25,000,000 and therefore he didn't pass the EFL tests so I'm not sure what he can do.
Friday tomorrow but no real news expected except we may find out how many bids have been made, if any.
Neither bassini or the Chinese have paid £25k to view the books.
