Swie, I can’t see Tom Morris getting involved.
I would be very surprised,

Right Chaps I must bid you all a happy sunny summer and hope you all enjoy the Cricket Wimbledon and Le Tour.
I’m sent away to a different pasture for the summer. Sadly I will be off-line hence the early 10th anniversary message as I won’t be here to do it but should act as a handy placeholder for catching up.

On my return if it’s mystery buyer C and not FV whoever eventually gets it I expect to see them backed by a mega rich billionaire, Messi installed on a free, Jussi back from Finland as GK coach, the Trialist family tested in pre season and the best of the worlds free transfers coming up to full fitness plus of course PP and his crew despatched to Outer Mongolia primary schools league management.
Fingers crossed I don’t miss the 1st game of the season spare a thought for Jeeves he’ll not know what to do with himself being left behind to guard home

Will update the ins and outs over the weekend. Is there anywhere in the world you can't get online these days?

Golden, you never know. It's a long shot but we could do a lot worse than Tommy.

So, Pasty, Have a good rest wherever you are going. It sounds to me as though it's an excuse to take a long sabbatical over the summer months. You know what I mean, out of sight out of mind. Enjoy.

Benny, read my post under yours. He's probably got a nice young lady booked on the same flight. It might, of course, be his wife.

Monday at the earliest before we know what's happening. No problem, what will be will be.

As requested by pasty, updated the ins and outs at the top including a new section who's out of contract but not yet re signed by Bolton or left to sign for other clubs. Accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Millwall don't seem interested in making amos loan permanent.

With the ridiculous contract and wages, it must be a relief to the new owners. It wasn't his fault but it must have made a massive hole in the wages budget. Farewell and good luck to the lad. No one in their right mind would have walked away from the contract he had.

Another short statement saying that Football Ventures could wrap up the takeover as early as this morning.

I hope that is the case. The sooner the better. Here is the link.

Another day gone by. Football ventures have form for pulling out of deals to buy Bolton. Hopefully one of the other 4 parties will still be around to pick up the pieces if it goes belly up.

A new countdown clock would be the top of my list.

Don't panic guys. There could be a problem but they have the money, the will and according to reports, they have already put £1,000.000 into the club and they have passed the EFL tests. It's unlikely that the administrators will not sort out any niggling problems.

Don't forget the last time they pulled out they were dealing with Ken and came across undeclared debts. That shouldn't be a problem this time because the administrators employed forensic accountants to find all outstanding debts.

there will be arguments over who gets all that cash from Rod's concert last week

I see Sean Dyche of Burnley has met with Harry Brockbank. Could it be another young star leaving for nothing? We need to get this takeover over the line so that we can sort this out pronto.

Here is a link to David Wheater's stress article. For me it doesn't read well and I'm thinking that I wouldn't mind if he departed with others who have already left.

On his watch as captain, the players went on strike. I would have thought that a captain of any football club should have been considering the implications that such action would have on the club and asking the team to reconsider. It was reported that all concerned were of the same mind so if he's considering going, so be it.

I see that we are now officially in League 1. There's nothing like seeing the name Bolton Wanderers on the teams' page that makes you focus on reality.

So, when are the fixtures due out?

I notice the beano have back tracked on their claim that football ventures are the preferred bidder.

Just realised the same Benny.
I have trouble understanding the statement by the Admin, Heads of Terms or the sale will be completed next week? It reads both ways.
