🚨 Bournemouth have agreed to sell Dominic Solanke for a club-record fee & talks with Tottenham Hotspur continue to finalise transfer. Personal terms in place & 26yo striker desperate to complete move from #AFCB to #THFC @TheAthleticFC after @DuncanCastles
It's happening then? No smokescreen 😐.
At least he is an aerial threat. Presses well, and can help defending set pieces. No the worst but not the best either.

Emerson done. Fridge in the mud
😂😂 Ok now that is funny @fridge 👀
Think Solanke was the right choice, he contributes to the side far beyond goals and has a very good injury record. Not a signing that gives you goosebumps but a solid acquisition that just makes sense.
If we can get Eze/Neto then we are set.

Playing your best side in cup comps rather than rotating out of it.
It’s my main gripe every season - i hope Ange bucks the trend this year

Emerson Royal to AC Milan, here we go! Deal in place for total package in excess of €15m from Spurs.
Agreement with Emerson reached in May as he only wanted Milan despite 4/5 proposals.
Travel being planned as Emerson leaves #THFC and joins Milan project.

Milan have pulled out of negotiations for Royal.
If ever there was a reason to hate the way we operate then frankly that's it. It's completely indefensible. The deal has collapsed because we've been trying to wring out as much from the deal as possible. Now they've moved on. That will unquestionably affect incomings.
How anyone can defend Levy at this point is just incredible.

Doesn’t feel like a priority to me with the redemption arc with Spence.
Romero, VDV, Dragusin, Davies, Porro, Gray, Udogie, Spence
Then Phillips and possibly Dorrington as young options.
Skipp as break in case of emergency.
Not sure we need more
think there is significant drop off with injury to the starting 4
god forbid the keeper gets injured
hopefully we iron out some bits that caused us to concede so much last season, then in the coming windows we can build on improvement by signing better quality defenders on top of what we no have going forward and in midfield

I agree but we have a massive hole at 10 if Maddison isn’t fit - I feel like that’s a bigger priority.
The other problem we have with the defence is who is going to be willing to come in and potentially just sit on the bench waiting for an injury/suspension
Biggest priority in defence is LB imo as the drop off from Udogie is huge
Kulusevski is a good 10 if Maddison gets injured

Kulu can play and 10 and we also have Bergvall that looks very promising.
A top quality number 6 I thought we needed last season when Bissouma was off form.
Also, we don't have a good back up for Udogie.
They would be my two priority positions.

and VdV tbh
would have been perfect to get a fast CB who can play LB
feel like Spence and Gray are the back up full backs

I don’t like Kulu at 10 - it just doesn’t flow the same, Ange was using him as a 9 towards the end of the season and it seemed a better fit.
Bergvall is young - if he can do it then great, I just have a bit of reservation that’s all
