Who's cheer leading for Levy here?

Yeah you're just shouting at the sky. Levy is responsible for our lack of trophies, obviously.
I'm just saying that 1. it's facking tedious to bring it up when there's a transfer you wish we'd done or didn't do. And 2. about the window in general when we're weeks away from it closing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shouting at the sky I’m discussing with you - hint, you keep responding.
Transfers and lack of quality in key areas is nearly always the deciding factor.
I will agree though, at Spurs there is another 2 major factors in play - lack of commitment to strategies and horrible and baffling arrogance towards domestic cups and the euro comps not called the CL.

Levyshire - faaaacking loves the guy like a brother
You're not discussing really. You're just ranting about stuff we already know. And backing up my assertion that it has no place on the transfer thread. Start a boring Levy Out thread

Stop responding then, bring it back to topic, any exciting news on the transfer front or is it the usual tumble weed?
FWIW I was triggered by the 'lack of ambition' comment. It's such a meaningless phrase that can be wheeled out about anything, usually really expensive players that wouldn't have come to us anyway
Levy has facked lots of things over the but I see no reason to think he doesn't want to win. That'd be absurd

If he does want to win then at some point he should acknowledge he is not cut out for it - he has had plenty of opportunity.
Personally I think sacking Jose 6 days before the League cup final just so he didn’t receive a greater pay off spoke volumes about where Daniel’s priorities lay - how some don’t see this is beyond me

Possibly a better description to use is he has a different priority order to the fan base - given Jose’s record I suspect most would have kept him on for 6 more days and paid the additional severance.
If any of you lot had a shred of intelligence you’d realise that I described Ally Gold’s lack of chapters on his YouTube videos as both stupid and arrogant in equal measure. I didn’t say he was stupid and arrogant. There’s a difference but why let facts get in the way of your needless member bashing.
This place is like a microcosm of the Southport riots. Individually I doubt you’re as cretinous as you come across but collectively, jesus, what a bunch of tiresome priccccks.
With every passing comment, all I see is that tw@t in the St George’s flag shirt strolling out of greggs with a steak bake.

So we've stalled on signing Neto, rumoured to be Ange's number one target, and now City are flush with the Alvarez cash, they're making a move.
This is why we all hate Levy. If Chelsea, United, Arsenal, City or Liverpool wanted him, it would have happened by now. We stall to get the best deal without considering whether the smart move is tying someone down quickly. I'm sure Dev will be on here denying he was ever a prime target or that it's out of our control, but lets be honest, it's happened too many times to be coincidence. We're the common denominator in these delayed, stalled deals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop wetting the bed about rumours you child.
Liverpool haven't bought anyone...so by your cry baby logic they don't want or need anyone.
Let's just see what we get and judge then whether Ange squad is good enough to improve this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a bit different with Liverpool though in that they have been used to success for the last 5 Klopp years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Gone backwards for 3 years. Over taken by Arsenal...you think scousers are happy with this and spending nothing.
They will spend of course and have a great record in making great deals

Solanke seems likeliest, but it will be another couple of weeks until we make our move
Levyshire is either related to Levy or a shareholder, there can be no other reason to be so staunch in your support of a chairman with so little desire to achieve sporting success.
Levy will never change, he is a businessman first and a football club chairman second, his priorities do not lie on the football pitch, his priorities are to deliver a strong business for shareholders, he knows he can achieve that without success on the football pitch.

He fits anges system with his work rate and is underrated with his ability
Yeah he flopped at Liverpool but he was young ….late developer and think he is getting better

Maybe they won't be, maybe they will but the context is that they have tasted that success and we have not for a long long time. They won a cup and got into the top 4 last season and we by comparison failed in both departments.
They are in a bit of a transitional period anyway having just lost their most successful PL manager.
Rather we sold Richy if it means signing Solanke. I trust Kulu and it would give a pathway for Sir William Lankshear.
Pathway FC. Give the youth a chance.
Rumours of a big Saudi bid incoming. That'd be nice. Sell Richarlison get Eze and a striker
