There’s a career out there for someone willing to spend 2 hours a day listening to his boring voice and then producing their own 5 minute round up video

I like the guy and share his views most of the time, I just wish his vids were shorter. There is an awful lot of waffle and off-topic chat. None of his vids should be longer than 50 mins but the average time keeps growing.

He's a nice guy but my god, he doesn't even remotely have the kind of charisma needed to carry off a 2 hour video. Most of the time he doesn't really have any kind of exclusive anyway. He just rattles on and on about nothing. I don't think i've made it past about 5 minutes. To have a lengthy youtube video and not have the and kind of timestamped chapter breakdown is both stupid and arrogant in equal measure.

It was also quite the achievement, on his podcast, to find the only man boring enough to make Ally look like the excitable one in Rob Guest. I'm sure they're both lovely people but lets be honest, they're so feckin' dull and frankly too diplomatic. I listen to The View From The Lane because at least they're willing to stick their necks out and actually have an opinion. Danny Kelly's rants about Conte felt like listening to a proper fan. Ally is too focused on not upsetting the club.

He's best enjoyed in small doses. Seriously needs to edit his videos down to a healthy time. No review of links to players should last the length of a Lord of the Rings movie.

So we've stalled on signing Neto, rumoured to be Ange's number one target, and now City are flush with the Alvarez cash, they're making a move.

This is why we all hate Levy. If Chelsea, United, Arsenal, City or Liverpool wanted him, it would have happened by now. We stall to get the best deal without considering whether the smart move is tying someone down quickly. I'm sure Dev will be on here denying he was ever a prime target or that it's out of our control, but lets be honest, it's happened too many times to be coincidence. We're the common denominator in these delayed, stalled deals.

Standard. They all think Neto should be coming to us but when the likes or City, Woolwich and Liverpool flex their muscles he will choose them.

Anyone who thinks City have just turned their attention to Neto is living in cloud cuckoo land.

They will have list too. Olmo( looks like he is going Barca), Eze, Neto and so on.

Every player we go for will have other clubs after them as well. We are a better attraction than some clubs but there are always bigger fish who can provide CL football.

As I have been saying for several months...

Stay humble.

Works both ways though - it’s great being a glass half full person but how many years without a trophy is too many, when are we allowed to moan about the clubs lack of trophy winning ambition?

Would any other of the big clubs accept 1 league cup in 25 years?

Different things though init. Yeah moan about that if you like but we've not won trophies for a whole host of reasons. I'd argue transfers isv pretty far down the list tbh. Worse teams have won things

And regarding the 'ambition' specific kneejerks on a transfer thread enough hyped, big money transfers have flopped over the years that it's not really reasonable to suggest if we just spent more we'd win things. We need to spend smarter. Not bigger or faster

The scuuuum have just missed out on the title 2 seasons running but they keep chucking money at it, keep trying to get Arteta over the line. Bosh Calafiori in - no messing around, big money and got it done cos Arteta wanted him.

City meanwhile have sold Haalands back up, he gets injured and I think Arsenal win this title.

3 seasons ago we pipped Arsenal to 4th - they went out that summer and spent like they qualified for the CL then the next summer - we’ve just been half hearted, sacked managers and generally look lost again.

I wish we had Arsenals owners. There are reasons our rivals sing about Levy staying forever.

The thing is I know this will fall on deaf ears, the people defending him now will be the same defending him in 2030 when we’re still trophyless “be patient you faaaacking wet wipes, 1 League cup in 30 years is faaaacking brilliant you faaaaacking bed wetters”

Yeah you're just shouting at the sky. Levy is responsible for our lack of trophies, obviously.

I'm just saying that 1. it's facking tedious to bring it up when there's a transfer you wish we'd done or didn't do. And 2. about the window in general when we're weeks away from it closing

A consistent strategy would help, Levy flip flops like a pancake when it comes to strategy - it’s ironic his cheer leaders call for patience from the fan base when the man himself has virtually none for the strategies he implements.

Loses patience with Poch, puts a win now manager in but the can’t wait an extra week before firing him so that he can manage us in a cup final - his speciality. I can only assume he had a lobotomy when Nuno was appointed. Then goes for another winner Conte who the world and his wife knew needed to be backed financially - didn’t back him financially.

Here we are with Ange - we have a data driven model, Lange, Paratici - who do they identify, which unheralded gems do they unearth - Neto, Eze and Solanke - Faaaack me, most on this site could have picked them out.
