Not much to pick between the keepers, each set of fans probably wouldn’t swap one for the other.

Further up you’re looking at a combination of both sides. I do think we are stronger in CM, but you are obviously stronger elsewhere.

Seriously? That doesn't answer that question either way. You've got players that suit the way you play, we've got players that suit the way we do. We've both got some that are interchangeable. You've got more strength in depth in certain positions, we've got more in others. We've got first team players that wouldn't get into your team either. Doesn't mean either of us would want to change them though.
Sorry, this is going exactly like I feared it would so let's just leave it there. I'm not entirely sure how much more praise you want to feel validated, particularly given you're trying, albeit rather stupidly, to twist my words when I'm praising your team and coach anyway..

For Liverpool to match City last season and blow them away this season is a near miracle. City have spent billions in the last decade and Pep himself has spent over half a billion, no?
Liverpool's squad is worth a fraction of City's. To see City fans pushing that the squads are on near level terms is testament to the brilliance of Klopp and his team. What a gap to make up.
Robbo cost 8m and was relatively unknown at Hull. Becomes world class under Klopp. City's left backs around 70-80m and both rated ridiculously higher than Robbo when joining City. Klopp has improved Robbo to surpass two of City's world class LB signings. What have they been doing to be overtaken like this?
Its like if you can't afford a Lamborghini like your neighbour, then buy a Prius and panel beat it into a Lambo.
TAA an academy product moulded by Klopp. Now world class and would start for City. Same goes for all the other players except VVD. All inferior to their compatriots at City but Klopp has made them churn out world class performances at a level not quite seen before in this league and beyond. An absolutely spectacular achievement and a mark of greatness.

We didn’t get rid of, but yes I agree with the point. Leaders like Kompany aren’t that easy to find though, he wasn’t one himself when we first bought him, he developed into it.
I don’t see anyone in our current squad that could take on the mantle though.

I don’t think you do have an inferior set of players. That aside though, the reason we have dropped off isn’t down to tactics. The system that Guardiola has had us playing still creates more chances (and concedes less) than any other team, our issue is the critical moments in both boxes.
Given that me thinking he’s the best tactical coach in the world is a sentiment shared by his peers (including your own coach) and has had an influence on football in general, it’s hardly a stretch to say he’s the best tactically.
I haven’t said Klopp is getting more out of his players chiefly because of motivation, I just said I thought he is better at that aspect than Guardiola is in general. I’ll reiterate again, I think he is excellent across the board

That’s the money our club spent, as in Begiristain. If you’re saying we didn’t spend all of that money well in the summer and didn’t plug the right gaps, then I entirely agree.

Seriously? That doesn't answer that question either way. You've got players that suit the way you play, we've got players that suit the way we do. We've both got some that are interchangeable. You've got more strength in depth in certain positions, we've got more in others. We've got first team players that wouldn't get into your team either. Doesn't mean either of us would want to change them though.
Sorry, this is going exactly like I feared it would so let's just leave it there. I'm not entirely sure how much more praise you want to feel validated, particularly given you're trying, albeit rather stupidly, to twist my words when I'm praising your team and coach anyway..

We used to be told how inferior our players were. Hoping to challenge world class City with the likes of Hendo and Wij. Now we are told it was never that bad. As I said, depends on convenience.

Had you not added world class players to play with those, then you wouldn't have. Hence why you had some of the players and didn't compete.

For Liverpool to match City last season and blow them away this season is a near miracle. City have spent billions in the last decade and Pep himself has spent over half a billion, no?
Liverpool's squad is worth a fraction of City's. To see City fans pushing that the squads are on near level terms is testament to the brilliance of Klopp and his team. What a gap to make up.
Robbo cost 8m and was relatively unknown at Hull. Becomes world class under Klopp. City's left backs around 70-80m and both rated ridiculously higher than Robbo when joining City. Klopp has improved Robbo to surpass two of City's world class LB signings. What have they been doing to be overtaken like this?
Its like if you can't afford a Lamborghini like your neighbour, then buy a Prius and panel beat it into a Lambo.
TAA an academy product moulded by Klopp. Now world class and would start for City. Same goes for all the other players except VVD. All inferior to their compatriots at City but Klopp has made them churn out world class performances at a level not quite seen before in this league and beyond. An absolutely spectacular achievement and a mark of greatness.

We didn’t get rid of, but yes I agree with the point. Leaders like Kompany aren’t that easy to find though, he wasn’t one himself when we first bought him, he developed into it.
I don’t see anyone in our current squad that could take on the mantle though.

I don’t think you do have an inferior set of players. That aside though, the reason we have dropped off isn’t down to tactics. The system that Guardiola has had us playing still creates more chances (and concedes less) than any other team, our issue is the critical moments in both boxes.
Given that me thinking he’s the best tactical coach in the world is a sentiment shared by his peers (including your own coach) and has had an influence on football in general, it’s hardly a stretch to say he’s the best tactically.
I haven’t said Klopp is getting more out of his players chiefly because of motivation, I just said I thought he is better at that aspect than Guardiola is in general. I’ll reiterate again, I think he is excellent across the board
What do you want me to say? That Klopp is the best at every single aspect of management?
