Well, so much for folks on here predicting that Fosun would spend big and give Nuno mega bucks.
It's now being reported that Fosun are being affected by the Covid-19 virus in China and have told Nuno that he has to raise money from selling players, if he wants new additions.
Traore likely to be the first out the door.
Wolves are ready to sell Spanish winger Adama Traore, 24, after manager Nuno Espirito Santo was told he must raise his own transfer funds. (Sunday Mirror)
Wolves are interested in Sevilla's 26-year-old Argentina winger Lucas Ocampos as a potential replacement for Traore. (Sky Sports)
Nobody has predicted we will spend mega bucks. People are saying we need to strengthen the squad and that will require spending. Whether we do so is yet to be seen.
Reading Jeff's interviews this week it is interesting to see the ten year plan is now a ten-twenty year plan.
Covid does not seem to affect the "big six" who continue to spend big.
Interesting that the Vile are spending when then would have been bankrupt had they have gone down.
Morgan Gibbs White set to join Swansea on a season long loan. Probably what he needs at this stage of his career. I reckon that will prove to be a great signing for Swansea
Been crying out for a loan move for a year now so glad he now has a chance to improve himself as a player and maybe as a professional. Swansea like to play the game the right way as well don't they so that will work in his favour.
Maybe also a sign we have things coming in soon
Another midfielder on a loan move is Conor Ronan who is set to join Swiss club, Grasshoppers
Shame in a way that these younger players don't quite make the grade in the first team. I guess when you reach the Premier League, you have the money to get top class players. Ronan has been out on loan a few times in the past 2 years or so and his contract is up at the end of next season. Guess we won't see him in a gold shirt again.
Should have been a pen for fc Hollywood
Poor game
Bayern deserve their 1-0 lead
PSG have barely played since March, really not gonna help them against a side that press like this. And in front of goal Mbappe is rusty as feck, 150 minutes since march.
Looks like Wolves to (Fosun owned) Grasshoppers might become a well trodden route. Dadashov is going there on loan too. It is a shame that Ronan hasn't had a chance, there must be something about his game that Nuno doesn't fancy. He's always looked dangerous when ice seen him play and he seems to have done well on his loans. Maybe he's seen as not physical enough?
Forgotten that Fosun owned Grasshoppers. They are one of the biggest clubs in Switzerland but have sunk to the second tier recently and missed out on promotion back by three points last season.
Big club, under achieving, plenty of potential. Looks made for Fosun.
A number of clubs were interested in Ronan and Dadashov so we could likely make loan money for a few years yet, or get transfer money for both. Whether they are good enough for the level we’re now playing at has to be questionable. But then Goncalves got nowhere at Wolves but was sold for €7m last week.
Just read that technically, their not owned by Fosun in the same way that we are, but by a hong Kong based company owned by Guo's wife, avoids any conflict of interest I guess if we ever draw them in European competition. Jeff's former right hand man Sky Sun went there a few months back to run them.
Sky Sun seems to me like a suitable name for a travel channel of a well known tv company
Meanwhile, reported Wolves transfer target Joao Palhinha has been left out of Sporting Lisbon’s pre-season trip to the Algarve.
Palhinha, 25, has been heavily linked with Wolves after an impressive loan period with Sporting’s Portuguese rivals Braga, including playing against Wolves in the early stages of the Europa League last season.
Us or CSKA Moscow?
Reckon he is quite likely coming to us
Not much of a summer holiday for our players. Most of our first team squad have been called up for full or U21 internationals in the first week of September
Those internationals being played is a complete nonsense

Not buying any of this, half the reports I've read refer to Palhinha, the other half to Paulinho and some refer to one when they mean the other. Its not impossible of course that we could be in for both of them but relying on the journalism of those that cant differentiate between two blokes who played for the same club with similar sounding names is dodgy ground.
Seems like you guys are going to be getting our Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
I know he's not a fashionable name, but honestly, most Arsenal fans are gutted about this. He made big strides forward under Arteta when he played, and was exceptional in the FA Cup semi-final and final.
He's technically proficient, composed on the ball, good passer, fast, decent crosser (though it probably is an area that needs work) - I can't believe we're letting him go but signed 29-year old Cedric on a 4-year deal.
Unfortunately, our loss is your gain.
Look after him
If reports are true Maitland-Niles will sign this week for around £20m. With Jonny likely to miss most of the season with his knee injury we are certainly in need of reinforcements in the wing back position.
Just gonna go ahead and say we have to sort his name out
