How do you know about the quality of our players? Have you been watching Albion's matches instead of Wolves?
Either way, you're not anywhere near as rich as you lot think. Fosun's riches are irrelevant under FFP rules!

I would like Traore to stay, but the truth is that in Podence, Jota and Neto, Wolves have players that can replace him. And there is a strong argument to say that at the moment Traore’s best position is on the bench. So if selling Traore means Wolves can bring in 3 or 4 players then they could be stronger as a team without him. And the massive gap between Wolves and Albion would become even bigger. And let’s face it, like Villa, Albion have very few players of real Premier League quality.

Yes I’ve seen some Albion games on tv. Pereira looks good but like Villa and Grealish, he may be fighting a one man battle at the top level

2 things.
a) The transfer window was still open last time I checked
b) Villa stayed up which is our target for our first season back
Wolves are in advanced talks with Arsenal over a four-year deal for Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Wolves manager Nuno Espírito Santo is keen to strengthen both his central midfield and full-back options and the versatile 22-year-old fits the bill on both counts.
Not over excited by Maitland-Niles and wonder why Arsenal are prepared to let him go.
However as soon as he pulls on the shirt I will be behind him all the way.

Traore has been undertaking a treatment programme over the last month and the club are hopeful that will lead to him not needing surgery on his dislocated shoulder
Spurs evidently willing to pay £12m for Matt Doherty
Be amazed if we sold doc this summer given jonny is out for most of the season

Yes I'm quite sure they are. And I'll bet Mourinho would take Neves for £15m, Traore for £15m and Jimenez for £20m. Caaaannts
can't see as we are in a position where we can sell any of our established first team players.
of the 11 subs named for the sevilla game, only neto and jota are regular first-team players. the other nine ,jordao, mgw, kilman, campana, buur, marques, richards and the two goalies, ruddy and sondergaard started three premier games between them in 2019-20.
We desperately need to increase our pool of first team experienced players, not decrease it
Absolutely. We need three or four added to have anything like a proper squad. Couple of injuries and we are embarrassingly light.
If you look back at the squad we were operating with last season, Jonny won’t be available until late in the season and I think the door is closed on Ryan Bennett coming back in, so we have a lighter squad than we had for much of last season. And then there was the failed introductions of Vallejo and Cutrone. The one positive is Podence as an addition, otherwise when looking at the squad size only solace is that we will play less games than last season. But if we are to improve on last season we will need quality additions for sure
I really hope the Jordao and Campana can make the grade. Kilman and Vinagre are adequate subs but no more.
As a minimum we need
A CB preferably one that can play either side or in the middle of the 3.
A wing back capable of playing either side.
An attacking midfielder
A centre forward
4 new signings that could see us break into the top 6. Any less and we will stagnate or possibly even go backwards.

Patricio, Ruddy
Boly, Coady, new CB, Saiss
Doherty, new wing back, Vinagre
Moutinho, Neves, Dendoncker, New attacking MF, Jordao
Neto, Jota, Podence, Traore
Jimenez, New CF, Campana
Still only a squad of 21 but with far more options to change things round, a stronger bench, and promising players coming through.
dont agree that vinagre is " adequate but no more ".
i think that in 2 or 3 years he could prove to be our best wing back of all

In 2 or 3 years maybe but I'm talking about the squad we have right now. Vinagre is defensively weak and needs to cut out all the fancy Ronaldo step overs and get on with attacking defenders 'cause he 'aint fooling anyone and rarely gets a useful cross in.
In the 19/20 season he played 3182 minutes, started 18 games, scored 2 goals and had zero assists.
Why are you not asking for more for Doherty?
He’s a nailed on starter for you lot and you’re squad is already super thin...
Disappointed that Neves and Moutinho only scored 3 goals in the prem all season.
Midfielders of their calibre should be getting many more goals than that.
Also the assists figures make grim reading with only three players getting more than three. (Adama, Jimmy and Mutty.) Ruben got two and Jota one.
That needs to improve.

In that case fair enough.
Was just shocked at the price.
Seeing a lot of sources saying we're close to agreeing a deal however, and not a lot of resistance from Wolves.
You should know Jonny is out for the season or at least a majority of it. So with that in mind do you really think we will sell our other starting wing back? It's just transfer BS.
The extent and certainty of the reporting makes it very difficult to believe that there's not something to it. The quoted fee seems laughably low to me, who are we going to get better than Doherty for 12m. If true, can only wonder if its a way to get Traore a starting berth every game - perhaps heralding a reversion to two up top or another formation change.
