With regard to going to Wolves games have now gone through the process of registering me and my buddies as a group so we will either all get tickets for home games or none of us will. Club expect fans to be allowed in from October with 25% to 30% capacity. Even registering as a group doesn’t guarantee we can all sit together. Got my eye on the Fulham game on October 3rd as a possible first game to see live, then probably get tickets for 1 in 3 games until the capacity is increased
pure guesswork but maybe the situation is one where wolves, in recognition of docs service, have agreed to accept a low fee to enable spurs to offer a high wage / signing on fee - all arranged by uncle jorge.

I earn a living sitting on my @rse talking shh!t on teams meetings too. Funny old world it’s turned into and I don’t see it going back to how it was 6 months ago, not for me anyway. Just wish could quickly get back to going to sporting events, gigs and cinema and being able to travel abroad unrestricted

Absolutely. Never thought I'd get nostalgic for M25 traffic jams and service station toilets but here we are.

This could be the case. I just hope if it is that the club are working to a plan which involves a replacement of at least equal or superior quality, because selling one of your best players to the club that finished above you on goal difference immediately strengthens them and weakens you by equal measure unless you have a contingency.
I do think a swap of Doherty for Maitland Niles is a good change if that’s what happens. Looks like the fees will be similar, with us maybe having to shell out £5m more for a player 6 years younger and potentially better.
Doherty flies back from his holiday in Sardinia today and will have his medical at Spurs in the next day or so with the transfer fee and personal terms evidently all agreed
Another player set to leave today is defender Cameron John who is signing permanently for Doncaster where he was last season on loan
This, perhaps naively, is the first time I've felt a bit uncomfortable about the Mendes stuff. He formally represents Doc, Nuno and Mourinho - and has some form of advisory relationship with Wolves as a club. Hopefully all this works out really well for us, everybody wins etc. But it's difficult to understand how he balances those interests or represents anyone as well as he could with an exclusive relationship?
He wants the money he'll get from a doc sale - a low transfer fee is bad for his client Nuno, good for Mourinho who has cash left, good for doc who is more likely to get his move, bad for Wolves. I accept that Mendes might then favour Wolves in a transaction where he has strings to pull so perhaps we don't have to lose out in the bigger picture... But one of his clients somewhere does don't they? Feels like some sort of pyramid scheme and all a bit grubby.
Its what Mendes has done to our benefit previously, Jota & Jonny come to mind, both transferred to incubator clubs and loaned out to us without hardly playing a game for their parent club before we signed them. I dont think its right but he plays the system and the rules as they stand.
On an unrelated point, just seen the new away shirt, lets be kind and say I guess Im not its target demographic.
Its my birthday tomorrow mind you, best warn the kids not to go shopping on the Wolves store this year.

I used to work at B&Q as a student, it looks like an incident that happened when someone forgot to tighten the clamp on the paint mixing machine.
Yeah not sure about that away strip. Looks more like a trendy T-shirt than a strip. Maybe if I was 16 I’d think it was the bees knees
As for Mendes I certainly think he has helped bring players to Wolves that we wouldn’t have got without him. I think to judge his role you’ve got to put aside the money he makes and his motivations and as long as it’s legal, just say is this a deal from which Wolves have benefitted.
Must say when the Neto/Jordao signing happened I really thought he might be dumping some no hopers on us but Neto looks a great prospect and the jury is out on Jordao until he has an injury free period.
My associated concern is whether we were right to not replace Thelwell. Just hope come the end of the window Jeff and Jorge prove it right by bringing in players to improve the squad enough for us to progress further

Shared birthday day Mine will be spent driving a Uhaul truck from New Jersey to Ohio through the remnant bands of Hurricane Laura
It will also be Maitland Niles birthday incidentally.
Troy Deeney linked with a move to Albion. As if there weren’t enough reasons to hate that lot
Wolves are interested in Athletic Bilbao and Spain centre-back Unai Nunez, 23.

Happy birthday you two. It's my wife's birthday too and she wants to go paddle boarding as one of her pressies.

Cheers wolfie, I went paddle boarding a couple of weekends ago in Wales, struggled to get the hang of standing up on the thing though, fell in three times. Good fun but I still get the occasional whiff of welsh pond even now.

Take her Gansbaai in South Africa DJ. The place is teeming with Great White Sharks. Swimming doesn't get any wilder than that

Oh dear, oh dear. This is what happens when you employ a bunch of young Chinese whizzkids to come up with trendy designer gear to sell in the outlets.
Tell you what though, us old farts might hate it and most of the players won't be too impressed but it will sell by the shed load.
That new away kit is awful.
