I think it makes more sense for Spurs to look at it as maybe a long term thing. Will you win it this year? In my opinion no, but can you win it with this squad and some additions in the next 2-3 years? Yes, if you keep your best players and keep improving...

Totally agree mate. This year, I think might be just to soon.
I think a lot depends on the fitness of Son and Kane.
This combination is working wonders at the moment.
Too early to judge if Spurs can win a title.I do think a CL lace is on though

I think if Spurs win any trophy this year, be it even the league cup, you could use that momentum the way Liverpool did with the UCL win to go one better and get the league title.
If Liverpool's form drops/gets affected by Champs League commitments and Spurs invest in January to push on....possibly. Chelsea look strong too. It'll be a fun ride, at least we are talking chances of winning the league rather than just hopeful for top four....
Imo liverpool are just too good. If it wasn't for them then I'd say we have a real chance.
I do think (draw dependent) we have a good chance in the cups.

I came here to say exactly this. If they hit form like they did last year then I don't think anyone can touch them.
Right now i'd have confidence in us getting a result against any side except Liverpool.
I would absolutely love a title race with them though!!
For me I think we'll come second. I think Toby is going to be a huge loss for us. We finally looked solid with Toby / Eric, and not it looks like Sanchez will come back in. I don't hate him, but I don't think we can win the league with him as CB!
There's no reason why we can't, we have all the tools required to do so, however it's important not to get too carried away at the moment, it's only November and a long way to go.
I hate fans/pundits/media saying we cant because we're bottlers. Such facking nonsense and I hope this riles the players up.

I don’t think Sanchez will play mate and thankfully I think Mourinho agrees, as he has been bringing on Rodon in games recently. Rodon must of shown something on the training pitch for Mourinho to pick him over Sanchez. Sanchez is a complete liability, so hopefully this Rodon slots in and makes an impression
I think we've got a great chance this season. There have been many surprise results already. City look way off the pace and Liverpool have some good players out - hopefully the latter will drop more points over the coming weeks.
If we can get anything at Chelsea and beat Arsenal, I don't see why we can't mount a challenge this season.
We have a great squad. However, I fear injuries to anyone one of our key players (Kane + Son) will see us slip away... Keep them both fit and we have a great chance.
The Jose factor does make you dangerous. Poch good manager but no experience of getting to the final line. Jose will have his calculator out, how many points, when, where etc
If you get Bale firing that will be another dimension.
I still think you wlll finish 3rd
We can win it, but I don't think we will.
If we're up there after the Xmas period then I think the players will have the belief.
It's going t be a long season though with our early Europa start, so I wonder whether that will have an effect?
Of course Spurs can win it. You have Jose.

I would probably agree with this. It was ominous how easily they beat Leicester with so many players missing.
Top 4 and any trophy would do me.

This
Rodon is still a bit of an unknown quantity for me at the moment Don, I'm hoping he can come in and do the business but right now we have the choice of partnering Dier with either Sanchez (ok but makes so many mistakes) or Rodon (great reputation but only got championship experience). Hardly the centre backs that you'd think will win the league!
Who knows - maybe he comes in and is immense. Let's hope so. Just think the Toby injury is huge for us
agree with a lot of the comments.
keep Kane and Son fit who knows. Toby is a big loss, could hinder on that and some earlier dropped points.
if we can go through the next 6 PL games with say only 1 loss and 1 or 2 draws thrown in there i will believe it possibly to challenge.
i do think its open for a lot of teams to win it opposed to other seasons, Liverpool still the ones to beat, theyre ridiculously unfazed by injuries.

Really? I'd have thought that a lot of the more important players are at their theoretical peak years aren't they? Lloris and Alderweireld won't be around in a few year time surely? Kane and Son at 27 and 28 are surely at their peak? Bale, Sissoko are both 31.
One of the reasons I do think Spurs are doing well is you have experienced players for Jose to use, another 2-3 years may not benefit that much imo.

You should be aiming to win it. Serial winner incharge who's been fully backed and the two on form forwards in the league.
I highly doubt Levy has appointed him just to match the what Pochettino and Redknapp (top 4) and/or Ramos (league cup) achieved and failing that you know Jose will not be settling for that especially not in the season his team's traditionally peak.
