It seems white people are more likely to be incorrectly convicted of murder in the usa, by a slim 1%. (Based on total murder convictions) however what’s interesting is black people on average face an extra 2 years waiting for convictions to be overturned (15 years compared to 13)

One of them said racist agenda but yes I agree that throwing that around at people, in either direction on this debate, is particularly poor, far too common and yes insulting. Didn’t realise that was what got your back up, thought it was because they didn’t answer your question. Apologies

Are you for real? You're quite literally describing what you and your mate did.
I asked you a question that you must have found uncomfortable because you dodged it twice.
Your mate chimed in playing the racist card (literally telling me I had a "racist agenda" for repeating a question neither of you were willing to answer).
You then backed him up on his statement. Your reply: "Exactly "
What was your question, I missed it TBH
And to fair, you’re they one who’s actually calling people ‘skum’ , ‘racist’ & ‘EDL’ members

No need to theorise on that one. Google Tony Timpah and tell me if you can see any similarities in the video....

Really? It was pretty big news. It happened many years ago, but Last summer pretty much every news outlet was using it to draw comparisons to the Floyd death due to the similarities of two people being killed by police during an arrest.
Must admit it’s the first I’ve heard of that story too.

"Slavery was abolished more than 150 years ago, yet African American populations remain one of (if not the) the nation's poorest and segregated ethnic groups. Just put police brutality aside, a host of research shows that they are proportionally more likely to suffer wrongful arrests, wrongful convictions and face obstacles for the same administrative procedures as other groups.
Why do you think that is?"
Unquote.
That, apparently, was the "most loaded question of all time".
Too provocative and difficult to answer it seems, so just easier to tell me I have a "racist agenda", whatever agenda they see in that question. Speaking in plural, because Rev agreed 100% and applauded Tomkins.
Asking people questions that they might have difficulty answering or just plainly refuse to for whatever reasons is a sign of racism on my part.
Maybe Tomkins or Rev can explain why my asking that question makes me a racist.
Unless they want to try a bit of mental gymnastics and explain how I perhaps have a racist agenda but not be a racist.

So a quick google search, USA figures
% of population
murders by race in USA
Black offender : 56%
White offender : 41%
Exonerated for murder due to wrongful conviction in USA
Black : 50%
White : 36%
Basically carbon copies of eachother, Obviously this is just murder but both look pretty in line with eachother. Interested to watch that documentary and see what information they have. I watched a movie the Mauritanian about Guantanamo bay, had something like 700 captives and only around 11 have been charged and 3 found guilty
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Number of people exonerated for murder =/ number of people convicted of murder but not actually guilty of the crime.
...I think we all know what it means?

I think you’re being a little obtuse there mate.
When police unjustly kill black people it explodes and goes ultra viral, spin & misleading ‘facts’ are given. It is portrayed to the general public that the ‘police are targeting black men’ and this is a racism thing instead of a police procedure issue etc.
You heard of Daniel Shaver? The country should have absolutely flipped its lid with what happened to that poor man.
Remember Michael Brown in Ferguson? Hands up don’t shoot? That’s still shouted and chanted by people there was a national outrage over that shooting, but we all know what happened there.
It’s a snowball effect where Americans are led to believe that these horrific things are mostly happening to black men, so they get outraged when it happens. Outrage is good for the media so they keep selling it. It’s a despicable cycle over there.
I think you'll got that utterly back to front, as lots of middle class white men seem to do, personally but there we go.

Not sure what the value of quoting the proportions actually exonerated of murder is?
Better would be to look at independent analysis of wrongful conviction.
There are a lot of people in prison in the States (and elsewhere) who are demonstrably innocent of the crimes they were convicted of but who remain behind bars.
You heard of Daniel Shaver?
