WTF are you on about? As i said the only 'divisions happening now are people who want to continue to be racist and people who don't. There's no non-divisive way around it, it's impossible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it that black and white in your eyes.If you agree with kneeling you are a good guy/girl,if you boo or disagree you are a racist.
That's a very simplistic view and a very dangerous one in my opinion.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Your adding 2+2 and getting 8.
It's very simple, if you agree or disagree with the kneeling, that's up to you, no one (only you) said that it makes you a good or bad person BUT, if you boo the kneeling then you are showing disdain for the message they are portraying. Understand?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Showing disdain and not being a racist then. That's fair enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
what would you call someone who has disdain for an anti-racism message?

Don’t see many, if any at all, booing the rainbow laces campaign for the LGBT community
Didn’t see Marcus Rashford being booed for campaigning and lobbying government over free school meals for kids
Let’s not forget the chants by England supporters like ‘one World Cup and two world wars’, or IR4 chants etc

“ You're obviously more comfortable with the idea that we share similar politics and ideas with America. That's fine. It fits”.
Point me to where I’ve said I’m comfortable with it?
Politically we are very similar, hence the idea of western democracy predominantly including both nations and both nations being seen as allies in recent major conflicts. This is a fact.
You claimed we don’t share political ideals with the US. This is proven to be not true. Our current PM is Trump light FFS

We had many allies in the Second World War. All country's with many different cultures and very different ideas and politics.

Do you see people booing Rashford for feeding the kids? Or is that one fine, because they agree with that message?
What about people booing players with rainbow laces, or is that one fine now that it's 'socially acceptable' to be LGBT?
What about things like the enormous amounts of charity work that footballers do, or do players who are outspoken about that side of things get a pass, because well, they're doing a nice thing?
Where do you draw the line at politicization? Or does it only apply when it's drawing attention to racism.
Also didn’t see the same ‘politicising sport’ argument for things like kick it out and other anti racism campaigns.
It’s not about politicising the sport at all. It’s the incorrect assertion kneeling is all to do with BLM even though the players have said it isn’t.

Do any of the above involve taking the knee before every game played?.Rashford has campaigned for meals for children outside the football arenas.
The rainbow laces campaign involves one round of games a season and was initially rejected by several clubs. It's run by STONEWALL,the same organization which is now under the spotlight for misrepresentation and downright lies
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-57219989
Football and other sports should not be hijacked for political purpose. This includes rememberance poppy day, taking the knee etc.
No, they don't involve taking the knee, but we're talking about the politicisation of the sport, not the form that it takes. So they're not booing the increase of politics in sports, they're booing the specific action being taken in *this* politicisation, because they disagree with it, which is entirely different.
I wonder why i never hear that argument about sport and politics being separate whenever actual politicians speak about things going on in sport??
It was only a few weeks ago fans were applauding the PM for publicly condemning the ESL proposals.
Didn’t see the booing lot complaining about politics and sport then either

Why would people boo one of your examples in Rashford when the great work he has done has been away from the football arena?
You have highlighted the fact because it's away from the arena's it's rightfully getting plaudits.
When you bring it into the arena's then it becomes political
When you bring it into the arena's then it becomes political
----------------------------------------------------------
that makes zero sense.
So when issues are bought to a sports arena, that immediately turns the issue political. You sound like your just making up random things now..
See my answer above. You assume they boo because of the message I say they boo due to the increasing politics in sport.
---
You said increasing politics in sport. I replied with examples of politics in sport. Now only where it takes place matters? You're moving the goalposts...
All of my examples were politics in sports, why is the stadium the only bit that matters? It's still sportspeople involved in political matters (or politicians involved in sporting matters!). Why is kneeling the hill to die on?

When movements like BLM take over the beginning of sporting events to promote their politics then of course it's political.
Do you know where taking the knee comes from? Hint: It's not from BLM, though they may have co-opted it.

And back round we go
“ Asked about the booing on Sunday, Mr Rashford said: "It's something that we can't control, and for us we believe [taking the knee is] the right thing to do, so we're going to continue to do it."
“ England manager Gareth Southgate has said his team's gesture, adopted throughout the last Premier League season, is not "political" but an attempt to highlight racial injustice.”

When it is done in arena's then it give's those in the crowd who disagree with bringing politics into the stadium the platform to disagree.
Easiest way to show their disapproval is to boo, taking the knee is associated with the Marxist BLM movement and a lot of people aren't in favour of defunding the police and their other policies.

what would you call someone who has disdain for an anti-racism message?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You look at it as disdain for the message, some see it as disdain for politicising sport.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Boo'ing anything is people literally trying showing disdain, hate, etc towards something. And don't give me that BS about politics because politics and sport have ALWAYS crossed paths for centuries, but because it's THIS issue, no one wants to see it. And could you answer my original question please?

Don’t see many, if any at all, booing the rainbow laces campaign for the LGBT community
Didn’t see Marcus Rashford being booed for campaigning and lobbying government over free school meals for kids
Let’s not forget the chants by England supporters like ‘one World Cup and two world wars’, or IR4 chants etc
---
Precisely. It seems to me, the only people latching on to this politicization of the sport argument, are those that are clutching at straws at something to be offended by & give them a justification to boo it.

Understand?

Why would people boo one of your examples in Rashford when the great work he has done has been away from the football arena?
You have highlighted the fact because it's away from the arena's it's rightfully getting plaudits.
When you bring it into the arena's then it becomes political

that makes zero sense.
So when issues are bought to a sports arena, that immediately turns the issue political. You sound like your just making up random things now..

Can u comprehend that if a system (police) has been unfairly, systematically, targeting your community for decades, that the people from that community might want a bit of a change to that system? And they have NEVER said to abolish the police force, just make some adjustments .
