reply:
" the club haven't given him full control—they're working as a team."

It's just the way Elvis sometimes talks about it like Ole is a manager and DoF applying expert changes across the club.

You always say Ole did this, Ole did that, when it comes to changes at the club. Probably best to stick to saying the club made these changes.

No. I said Fletchers role is to decide the prospects career path, wether that be a loan or promotion to the senior training squad, which would involve a discussion with Ole.
Go on the club site, click on double injury boost, and in the first sentence it says, Ol e Manchester United boss...

Sorry, what is the significance of Ole sometimes being referred to as the boss ?
RDD's having a nightmare here.
The whole club's set up for first team success, and the first team coach carries the can for lack of that.
RDD's saying he has no influence over anything other than training sessions, picking the team and substitutions. What a plum
You said it called him Norwegian, but not Ole 'mate'
You lied, no wonder you didn't pick up the bet.
I've always thought of you as an awkward but fair poster.
I know different now.
I'll do my best to warn the others

OP
I haven’t read any of the comments, but I think you missed most of the categories that are expected from the manager/coach, such as coaching.
As for the categories you mentioned, I’ll go with
Tactics - 7/10
Team selection - 7/10
Style of play - 7/10
Man management - 9/10
Substitutions - 2/10
Team morale - 8/10
Achievements - NA
As for different aspects of coaching I’ll go with
Game management - 3/10
Pressing- 3/10
Passing - 4/10
Playing out from the back - 3/10
Defending/attacking set pieces - 4/10
Defensive organizations - 5/10
Attacking patterns - 3/10
Overall cohesiveness of game play - 3/10
Squad management - 4/10
Ole’s biggest weakness is basics. He is very poor at coaching a team. He is pretty good at everything else IMO.

The club website always refer to him as the boss
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is the first team manager. He manages the first team, not the reserves, or the academy, or the women’s team.

Manager, Solskjaer, The Norwegian, but no sign of anyone referring to him as the boss mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes there most definitely is, I read it 5 minutes ago.
£100 on it if you want to revert to lying

Always?

Still the question remains,
Do you think others appoint the staff for the youth and under 23 teams, and then say,. Here you are Ole?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He also thinks that youth players get sent to train with the first team without Ole's say so.

Why would they have to present them to Ole?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quick question, RDD, why do you think managers get involved in coaching appointments outside of the first team?
If you can't answer that it may be time to duck out of this one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m making the opposite argument.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're saying Ole's involved in coaching appointments outside the first team?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No.

No. I said Fletchers role is to decide the prospects career path, wether that be a loan or promotion to the senior training squad, which would involve a discussion with Ole.

Iv not said that at all.
All iv said is Ole doesn’t appoint academy and u23’s staff, as Elvis claimed.

OP
I haven’t read any of the comments, but I think you missed most of the categories that are expected from the manager/coach, such as coaching.
As for the categories you mentioned, I’ll go with
Tactics - 7/10
Team selection - 7/10
Style of play - 7/10
Man management - 9/10
Substitutions - 2/10
Team morale - 8/10
Achievements - NA
As for different aspects of coaching I’ll go with
Game management - 3/10
Pressing- 3/10
Passing - 4/10
Playing out from the back - 3/10
Defending/attacking set pieces - 4/10
Defensive organizations - 5/10
Attacking patterns - 3/10
Overall cohesiveness of game play - 3/10
Squad management - 4/10
Ole’s biggest weakness is basics. He is very poor at coaching a team. He is pretty good at everything else IMO.
