There is another aspect to all of this, Bruno Lage.
He, in my opinion has been our best signing and has done remarkably well. The guy is desperate for a bigger squad and we should give him one ( under Amiga's rules)
If he were to get frustrated and leave the club we would be hard pressed to find another manager as good, so he should be listened to.

Spending DOES guarantee one thing Amiga.
It guarantees that the supporters of the club, together with the management and the players, can actually see that the club are TRYING to move in the right direction.
Every window that passes with little or no effort made to add to the squad, results in a further dilution of the expectations of all parties.
Boston you are right, Bruno Lage is something else Fosun deserve credit for. I'm sure Fosun will do all they can to support him. But that does not mean big signings every transfer window.
If you look at our transfer business, it is probably some of the best in the Prem.
As we are close to the UEFA FFP limit spending could mean we are excluded from Europe even if we qualify

When Nuno was manager, HE stated he wanted to work with a small squad and I went along with HIS desire.

I eagerly await to see how much money Newcastle are prepared to spend in order to stay up. That could prove to be a classical example of what we're trying to get you to understand. Money doesn't necessarily bring success.
I do hope that the players we've brought back from being out on loan get some game time in the coming weeks. But at the moment, I see them as just cover in case of injuries.

Money doesn't guarantee success I agree in principle. However, money spent wisely on the right players gives you a far better chance of success. look at Super Mick's scatter gun approach where he'd spend 30m on 7 players, some hit some miss... the chances of it hitting with two 15m players are higher.
anyone that saw the blades game, will know that Marcal was well off the pace at CB, and with Donk then covering at CB as well as starting as a makeweight in midfield will know that we need atleast one first team starter in the engine room or a proper CB ideally both

As for Lage, he has been brilliant given the lack of support he has been given and he hasn't hidden the fact he is setting up the team differently to how he would like due to not having the right players.

That is very true Tino. I never expect signings, I expect improvements. So if the players are available to do that, within the financial limitations, then I am sure we will sign them.
If not then I also expect the club to move on.

My fear is that we are simply banging our heads against a brick wall trying to get this across to Cinci.
Wolfie wants a large squad and one that is capable of competing with the best, BUT, he doesn't want to spend any money as it doesn't guarantee success.
He acknowledges that the players we have brought back from loan are to cover in case of injuries, BUT, he WANTS them to get game time which indicates that he WANTS players to get injured??
fiscally the club has possibly never been better positioned (credit to Messrs Morgan and Moxey)
the ground is fuller than ever (since the stadium became seating) waiting list for season tickets is an all time high (matched only by the price)
the revenue for being a successful prem team is crazily high, we all put our hands in our pockets and it seems like they're taking advantage in a way, we need 5 signings we'll bring the kids back be a right shame to let this chance to build momentum pass u by. I'm 42 and other than the early 80's (which I don't remember) I've only seen us in Europe for 1 season, I'd quite like another
