Exactly. Trying to please a few fans like you, that don't want them to invest in players for fear they might get it wrong.

I am quite happy to see investment in players. But it needs to be the right players
Cor blimey, I was bored with this debate two weeks ago, has anyone got anything different to say or is it going to be important for everyone to repeat their own stance multiple times every day

Personally, I think it's important we all nail our colours to the mast.
Are happy investing money in the right players or the wrong players?

That statement is actually more accurate than you realise.
If the club make mistakes in their decision making over recruiting players at least we do know that their mistakes are better informed ones. To be fair to Amiga, the club will have a plethora of information that the likes of us are not party to on players.
Would be interesting to do a list of the players we've been linked with over the last few years and not signed and asses whether they would have enhanced the squad or not. Not interesting enough though for me to be ahrsed to do the research.
Any chance someone could create a dedicated thread for the predominant discussion topics above? That way I could ignore them more easily.

How on earth are we going to identify the "wrong" players though. It's not easy. If you think you can just cast your net and a load of wrong players just swim into it, you are mistaken.
Also, putting a value on wrong players, and giving them the wrong contracts at the wrong time could prove difficult as well.
Rumours that Wolves are looking to offload Boly. Probably the right decision given he isn't playing if we can bring a replacement in.
It's a shame how his Wolves career just seems to have petered out though.
Boly’s fitness has certainly petered out. Only played half the games the last two seasons and not played at all this season. That being the case I can’t imagine why anyone would want to buy him, unless there’s more to his absences than meets the eye. Shame because when fit he’s a quality centre back
I think he looked like a dad playing in an under 9s game when we were in the Championship. It was ridiculous how good he was. He continued that form into the Premier League for the first two seasons.
Last season there was a real drop off in his performances when he did play. I'm notnsure who would be interested, but I guess the best bet would be for a move back to the continent.
I will be sad to see Boly leave, he has been a huge part of our defence (literally) and I'm wondering if Covid has done some long term damage to his lungs or something? Because I can't imagine he wouldn't be have been playing if fully fit.
Fortunately with the emergence of Kilman, the loss wasn't felt as badly as it might have been, and maybe in an ironic twist, it gave Kilman a chance to prove himself?
Either way I wish Boly well.
Bruno has said some cryptic things regarding Boly and said he will address them when the time is right.
Bit bemused to see Boly listed on the bench for Cote D’Ivoire tonight. Is he there or not?
Sounds like a bizarre end to the Tunisia v Mali game at acon today. The referee blew for full time after 85 minutes. He was then told of his error and after a delay he restarted the game. Then he blew for full time after 89 minutes and 45 seconds, just as the 4th referee was about to show the board to say how much time would be added on for stoppages. But the game ended there much to the unhappiness of Tunisia who were 1 down at the time
Even more bizarre, they were going to come out and play the added time but Tunisia didn't turn up.
Such a poor tournament
The last 11 games have been
1010101010001000101010
Seven total goals from open play all tournament i think.

Such a terrible move for him that was. It made sense on no level. Suspect a championship club will be his next move and we saw the best of him for a few seasons.
Could still do a job for a lower PL team I reckon
Doherty got a decent pay rise by going to spurs and is not half way through his 4 year contract yet. Be good to think he could get a move to another premier league club but if not he may well just sit on his contract where he is. He’s 30 years old on Sunday so may as well pocket the cash and move on for a final pay day when that contract is up

Agree with this. Matt needs to play Spurs for the mugs that they are.
We just need them to take Traore for £30million now and the last laugh will be on them again.
West Ham now reported to have made a bid for Traore. Hopefully we can get an auction going for him if it’s true the likes of West Ham, Spurs, Liverpool, Barcelona are all interested.
Still think we should not sell him till the summer when the market tends to be more buoyant and by which time Neto will be fully up to speed
Doubt very much that West Ham are genuinely interested. More likely just taking the pi55 out of Spurs.
