But Ten Hag wants the keeper to start the build up. It’s a kop out to blame the outfield players for his shiiiiit passes. He can barely kick it into the opposition half now as well.

No-one is saying his distribution is good, but could there not be a slightly bigger picture?
You look at city and Liverpool, the movement of their forward line is like chalk and cheese compared to ours, we are literally static compared to theirs.
A slightly overhit pass from ederson for example isn't such a major issue because you have the likes of Sterling or foden running into space so it doesn't have to be as precise.... the same with Liverpool and Salah and mane.
We don't have one player who does that, so de geas kicks literally have to be pin point accurate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can’t kick it far enough for them to run onto.
Besides, the biggest problem are his poor passes to our defenders and midfielders. It’s pretty blatant to see. It’s also why he’s been dropped for Spain because even they’ve had enough of it now.

DDG can still kick a football over the half way line.
And he isn't to blame because Maguire AWB Linderof and Mc Fred etc. cant conspire to play out from the back often and get caught in possession by pressing players.
Only just, and it usually ends up out of play.
We can do better than DDG

If he usually kicks the ball out of play or couldn't even reach the half way line from a goal kick he wouldn't get a game in Sunday League you numbskull
And yet here he is starting for Manchester United.

Good grief.
What is this guy arguing about lol. It’s been common knowledge for years that DDG’s distribution is diabolical
It has been statistically demonstrated that DDG is right at the worst end of the spectrum for goalkeepers when it comes to distribution. He's also far from elite in just about every metric apart from shot stopping (though let's not forget he has had a number of wobbles in that department over the years). His deficiencies (distribution and reluctance to come out of the box) are one of the factors contributing to the fact that our defence spends too much time under pressure.

This. Thank god.
DDG's distinution could be as good as anybidys. He just needs the other 10 to help him out.
I think sorting out United goes way deeper than employing a man who plays attractive football.
I don't think this ends well. The players have to buy into the manager and the system and so far they haven't done that with a succession of managers.

Its the only sensible thing to do . It has not worked out with previous managers so there is no point in trying to win with a new one. We need to replicate the Spurs model.
