Calm down Greta
These people are bringing traffic to a standstill and therefore creating more emissions
Making drivers wait in queues with their engines running and causing detours meaning longer journeys
That’ll show them

These people are not doing themselves any favours by these actions.
I am actually waiting for someone who was meant to meet me at 10 30 but he has been held up by these w@nchors.This has a knock on.effect so b0llox to just stop oil.
Tired of hearing how Law Enforcement find these t0 55 er5 actions as 'unacceptable'. They need to be given the power to round up these cretins and put them away for years. These protesters lack the self awareness to realise they're just making the public hate them even more rather than rally behind them.
If it's not the original protestors it's another off shoot of no work bum wasters and hippies, old and young, ruining people's day to day lives. The day one gets squashed under a Chelsea wagon on purpose will be a good day.
What should they be doing, writing a strongly worded letter to their MP?
Civil disobedience works.
I normally drive to the office one day a week or every other week but certainly not this week.
My route is M3, M25 junction 12-8

I don’t think they’re in the business of attempting to ingratiate themselves to the public.
They’re trying to get airtime and column inches to get the scientists’ message across, and to put pressure on policymakers.

Technically it's against the law to have your engine idling. Really the police should have ensured that everyone sitting idling in that queue should have been given a ticket and three points on their licence.
I don't get what people expect protesters to do, if they stood outside parliament with signs then they'd get no attention.
Their protests have been working anyway I'd say, given Labour announced a plan to insulate millions of houses if they get into power.
May not have happened if Insulate Britain didn't gain notoriety.

Cut off their energy - cvnts cant complain, surely?
The fact that it is winding up some of these smooth brains is enough for me
OP
You do realise that without people ever protesting you would probably still be living in a cave.
The very nature of protests is to cause disruption. Or what is the point?
They could go to Saudi and chain themselves to the oil refinery gates

Never understood that criticism given the entire movement is about forcing the government to act, not individual people, due to the high cost of insulation.

Why do they need to go to Saudi Arabia to protest when they can do it here?
